Absolutely awful. I went in for food and asked for the burger, only to be told they had no burgers. So, I asked for fish 'n chips and was told they had no fish. I asked if they had anything and was told they had scampi and an all day brunch, so I ordered the brunch and a fizzy orange. The orange was all water with very little orange. To make matters worse, there was a drunken chav sitting nearby arguing loudly on his phone with his girlfriend. When he returned from the toilet to find that an old man had taken his table, he decided to move closer to me, clearing his throat constantly. That was the last straw. I asked for a full refund and left. If I could give this dive zero stars I would. The manager should be sacked.

Had a breakfast here and won't be having another, it was cold and my egg was a snotty egg. we ordered a side of mushrooms and black pudding the mushrooms were also cold and not cooked properly the black pudding was the best bit of breakfast as it was hot.

I mean its a spoons, cheap cheerful and bloody fast food that's decent. It looks acceptable to have a beer during the day here to! Bonus... carpets have a sticky feel I should imagine some type of cleaning product, this helps locals stay up right which must be a control measure on one of their risk assessments. Love it !! Ran out of crayons for my daughter hence the minus one star.

Not brilliant but not the worst Wetherspoon. The place is noisy, desperately needing some soft furnishings to dampen the hard surfaces and low ceilings. Some better staff training would help too with us having to request drinks to be topped up on the last two visits (the first time being told we would have to wait as the member of staff was now serving someone else whereas I would argue that they had not finished serving us).

28/01/2022. I’m in awe of the staff and service here. I’m hugely travelled and visited literally hundreds of spoons. Here they just work. Ambience is great and no bargain basement aura like some. But honestly incredible service ( speed ) . Well done the staff, not management or processes. Staff make this place work.

Been here several times the past few years and always been good food and drink at great prices great place to start a night out in the town at or just a pint or 2 with a friend. Plenty of seating and the app is great for ordering to table.

We visited Wetherspoons on the 7th of January 2022, where my group of friends and I had a lovely sit down meal. The food was delicious, however after finishing our meal, my friend and I decided to use the restroom. On our way there, we walked past two men, sat by the bar and we heard the phrase "one for each of us" as their eyes followed us. Being younger girls we decided to continue to the toilets where we got worried about walking back to our table. On our way back we once again got followed as we speedily tried to get back to the table with our group of friends. After getting rationally upset about this, one of the men from our group decided to go and report the two much older men, when discussing the matter with the manager, instead of doing anything about this he asked our friend to 'stand back as nothing could be done'. For the rest of the evening we were on edge and paranoid about a second occurrence as not even a warning was given to the men. The men in our group then had to escort many of the women to either the bar or the toilet if anything was needed. Once again, a nice place and a nice meal but such a scary experience that almost ruined my night. Just wish the signs in the toilets that stated 'everyone has the right to feel safe anywhere' reigned true.

Stopped off here for a late lunch. First visit to Tamworth. Food was freshly cooked and arrived quickly. Always good value, will definitely stop here when we are visiting the area.

There was the usual prompt service at the bar, with a wide array of craft ales on offer. The food was cooked well and served with a minimum amount of waiting time. The pub was well patronised but there were always tables available. The tables were cleared promptly enough but could perhaps have done with a proper wipe down and cleaning more often: there were times when the attention to detail ethic could have been more rigorously applied. All in all, though, it is recommended.

It's been a while since I used this Spoons. Pleasant service and a clean interiorTakeaway coffee for under a £1! Much better value for money than the High Street coffee brands. No alcohol on this visit, but may pop back.
