Outstanding Beer Battered Fish & Chips, no soggy underneath of the batter & beautiful fish, chips great too. It was very clear this had just been cooked. All staff were polite & friendly too. Will be returning for sure. What a great Team

We visited The Wigginton for Mother’s Day yesterday with my family. The Sunday roast was fabulous. 10/10 all the way. So tasty & the gravy was amazing! Organisation was great on what was a very busy day, staff very friendly & efficient. Would recommend to anyone to try!

Much improved but still prone to noisy kids climbing all over chairs & tables with accompanying noisy parents telling them off every 5 minutes.Not a particularly relaxing place to have a meal and a chat with friends.Portion size not that big. I had a full rack of ribs with chips at £14 and came home for 3 slices of toast!

Fantastic pub run by friendly, down to earth staff! A wide range of food and drink is available, and staff are more than accommodating to make changes if requested. We love it here and return regularly!

We went there for a family Sunday lunch for my mother's birthday, all 12 of us. I have to say, it was the best Sunday lunch I've ever had (or one of the top 5). There were three meats, mash, stuffing, sausage and bacon, cabbage, broccoli, cheesy cauliflower, the lot. I would definitely recommend it.

Staff excellent as always, beer on point. Great atmosphere and decor. I'm not even local anymore but make a conscious effort to head over - the best management in there for well over a decade.

Went in bar as had dog with us, Comfortable seating, friendly atmosphere and good service from staff, quality beer and wife also favours the rose, few locals in there having a laugh, good fun 😀The pub is dog friendly (dogs allowed in bar), we've also been in lounge on a previous visit, pleasantly surprised with the new refurb. Well worth a visit 👍

Historically the pub had a bad reputation, the management now could not do enough for you. Food, service and beer all excellent. Highly recommend

Thank you to Sally & her team for an amazing night on Thursday 16/12/21 for our daughters 40th birthday. Sally welcomed us in to decorate the room & cooked over 30 meals which was fantastic. 5 ⭐️ Rating from all of us there , thank you so much
