Great local fish and chip shop. Very clean and tidy. Friendly staff serve decent quality food.You can measure a good shop by the que waiting outside. At peak times you will find a small queue of people gathered outside. But there are usually sufficient staff to cover eventualities.Jones' has a good reputation, which is well deserved.

Best chips in Newport - I didn't have time to sample anything else as was in a hurry but the chips tasted divine 😋 👌 😍The staff were very friendly indeed and gave a warm welcome when you walked in.Next time I won't be in a hurry and will grab a fish to go with the chips too 😃😃😃

Dreadful the food was inedible. Soggy batter soggy chips which were green. It was so bad we took them back. The one star is that they refunded us. Will not return.

Delicious! I have been coming here for fish and chips since a kid, and suffice to say, it always lives up to its good review. It is well famous around the town and possibly the best for miles around. I go almost every week and still keep going. 5 stars from me!!!

Best service and best gluten free fish and chips ever!10 out of 10 for customer service. This place is fantastic. We ordered by phone and had beautiful, delicious fish and chips cooked to order. Gluten free was in a separate fryer and labelled up. The lady and gentleman were above and beyond in politeness and helpfulness. They even made me 2 cups of takeaway tea, which isn't on the menu!
