Macdonalds Deck Restaurant in Telford and Wrekin

Has to be the busiest Maccies in the whole of the UK, the waiting time is always plus 15mins. Drive thru is always backed up onto the main entrance and car park full to the brim. Not the staff or restaurants fault but I avoid coming here if I can.

McDonald's restaurants are generally quite good and food is quite tasty, however more often than not the fries are often cold and limp with no crunch at all. I understand fries do not get sold immediately so can go limp or cold over time, but a quick re-dip in the oil every 10 minutes would bring their heat and crisp back. My only other negative with many McDonald's restaurants is traffic management to their stores. As the restaurant is very popular (especially on weekends) traffic can queue for several hundred meters often blocking up nearby main roads or access to other stores, especially on retail parks. I think McDonald's should have staff monitor this and move on traffic waiting to enter the drive-through that are blocking entrances and roads to other areas.

There are very few constants at this restaurant, or at any McDonalds. They’re meant to have uniformity across all locations. Yet I’ve never seen any similarities between them, a Big Mac is never the same, even from the same restaurant, however, there is one redeeming quality at this restaurant. It’s the longest serving employee who always has a smile and a good thing to say, today they forgot the hash brown but the happy woman taking orders and payments at the drive through always puts a smile on my face. Otherwise this is just like any other location, wildly different in every conceivable way.

Food is standard mcdonalds, you pay for what you get and I've never really had a bad meal from this branch. However, the service is much better here than the other local ones. Kylie in particular who is on in the mornings is brill, you need to send her over to Muxton to train the others! She's so friendly and attentive. Really brightens up my mornings :)

Worst McDonald's. Drive thru is too slow. Counter service is terrible. Staff are too busy filling just eat orders to help or serve customers eating in or taking away. There appears to be no complaints procedure either. Won't be visiting again

It's okay at best. Food is good but half the time is cold and have to take it back and sometimes met with rude staff. Wait times can be ridiculous.

Food was average but the service is great. Employees are soldiers in thier own right, keep it up.

Probably the worst Mcdonalds in the area. The service is anything but fast here. The drive thru on a good day takes 25+ mins and the service is about as warming as the temperature of the food when you eventually get it.Mcdonalds as a brand really need to assess the competence of their management here. The key to their success is fast food. Not even remotely true here.They've also installed a big kerb in the drive thru so when you decide you're fed up of waiting, you're stuck there and can't leave the queue

Absolutely terrible service. Rude staff. Rude management. Can't take constructive criticism and take it personally trying to say your abusing them when your politely pointing out their inadequacy. Dirty inside as they concentrate only on delivery orders and don't care about drive through customers on site. Avoid, avoid and avoid.
