Severn Stars Chinese Takeaway in Telford and Wrekin

Used this place for years, food was always great. But my last two orders have made me violently ill. First one I thought maybe I had a bug but twice is no coincidence. Hygiene standards have definitely slipped.EDIT: To your reply. I had every symptom of food poisoning on both occasions the day after consumption. Your food has been fine for me for years. But both times I was sick I had beef dishes.

Ace chinese. I just wish it was closer to where I lived. Worth the drive though.

Seven stars ,Very disgusting 🤮. All are cooked in water. And too much cornflour using.for give to full container, they adding more mushrooms and onions 😡

Ordered food this evening 30th October had a wonderful dragon & my partner had house special chow mien & crispy chicken balls .Delivered in no time at all piping hot as always beautifully cooked .In my opinion the best Chinese in Telford. Keep up the good work.

Lovely food but every order hasn't been 100%, I've had onions in my food when asked not to, I've had missing items on all occasions like prawn crackers, chips, curry sauce and cans of pop.I expect a wait on delivery when its a weekend but 2hours 40 minutes isn't acceptable.Meant to have had a phone call off the manager but didn't even receive that! I'm probably owed a full chinese meal with the items they've missed over time.

Wish I could attach pictures to back my horrible experience up. Chips was put in a really small envelope and exposed rendering food cold, sticky tape which was used to put the bag handle together was tampered, plain noodles/ chow mein was lower than 15 degrees. Food served must be at least 63 degrees but this was not so. Called to complain and a guy called king was so rude. Asking me to call council and give them his name as if he owns Telford. In this climate, with every thing going on, it’s absolutely unfortunate for Chinese take away to serve food in such a horrible state and disregard all customer service practices. What a waste of money and a stressful evening. My impression of king is that he’s only interested in taking money and puts no effort in customer satisfaction. I didn’t expect an evening takeaway experience to end like this at all. I will not be going there again and will strongly not recommend this place to my worse enemy.
