Spiceland in Telford and Wrekin

Food was fine but nothing special. Restaurant really lacked atmosphere and the music they played just bought down the mood. Service lacked personality too. Peppers in Trench literally treat you like their best friends when you dine there but this place just seemed like they wanted their table back so they could go home. Was midweek. Maybe it's better at weekends.

They have a separate fully vegan menu with a huge amount of choice. We had a fantastic meal, staff were very attentive, good sized portions. Resturant interior was very plush and immaculately clean. Will be our indian resturant of choice in future

We booked online. Very friendly when we went in. Shown to our table. Place looks lovely. The owner came and spoke to us and the waiters were all very friendly and answered any questions we had. Food came out nice and quickly and we were asked if we were ready for our mains after we finished our starters which I thought was good as you sometimes aren't ready. The food tasted fantastic. Would definitely recommend coming here. We were even offered a complimentary baileys at the end.Went again this evening. All still very good.

Was very impressed when I walked in, restaurant has a great design and atmosphere and service also top notch.However when I ordered the tikka mixed grill, it was tough and dry. To top it off I’m sure the cobra beer tasted flat, very bad quality. Had two pints and feel like I’ve had eight! According to the owner this is impossible because Cobra is served globally without issues. Unfortunately my experience was quite different.To give some credit, a table check was done but i still had food in my mouth and didn't answer. I'm sure the restaurant would have resolved the issue as the service was very professional and polite.Little piece of advice for the person who replied to this review, don't try and debate genuine customers who have complained by discrediting their review. It will help your business a lot more in the long-term if you accept the criticism and improve the specific meal and the beer. I'd also like to say that the other people eating all said their meals were great. Cheers

Beautifully presented tasty food, exceptional team offering just enough attentiveness without being in your face... Great atmosphere... And very reasonably priced.An unexpectedly great Friday night out...Will be back again very soon!

Found this place on a vegan app. Drove 1 hour round trip to pick up takeaway. Wasn't disappointed. Food was amazing!!!! Highly recommended

Our family visited Spiceland again on Saturday 8th of Jan 2022. Sag, the Manager, and his staff made us feel very welcome. The restaurant has been maintained to a very high standard and the food was wonderful and easily on par with Michelin Star standards I have ejoyed over the years. The staff offered a very personal food experience giving guidance and advice on the various dishes on offer; nothing was too much trouble.Another very enjoyable evening. Excellent meal. I am vegan, and I was well catered for with the amount of choice. Delicious food. I was in a group of 8, and we were served in a short time considering it was a full house.

Ordered at 1930Food not delivered until 2100BUTI have to say the food was delicious and some of the best indian food I've ever had, especially as me and the wife chose vegan options which are very difficult to find.Not only was the food excellent but I was called to personally apologize for the delay, and got a free drink added to the order by way of compensation.Very impressed and will definitely eat from again!
