Taverners Telford - The Severn Gorge in Telford and Wrekin

Pub located in a great place right by the town centre. Great staff and very welcoming and friendly, good atmosphere and the carvery was really good. Will be returning.

Went on 15th April and was really surprised too see how much you got for £9.95. The portions were very generous. Staff were really friendly too. Nice pub nice place will definitely be going again x

My family of four enjoyed a lovely meal this past weekend to the Severn Gorge. Really can’t fault the service, food selection or prices. We had a friendly greeting upon arrival and prompt and efficient service. Will definitely be returning!

Went here on a whim and must say I was very impressed. We chose the carvery for food and it was all fresh and delicious. The staff were also very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We will be returning in future

I visited yesterday to celebrate mother's day with my two boys (I forgot to bring my voucher for a free glass of prosecco, oops). The food was cooked and presented to a very good satisfaction. The staff were cheerful and approachable we definitely will visit again. Thank you for a lovely meal.

Been for a carvery today. Food was excellent, plenty to choose from choice of 3 different meats. Couldn't fault it. Staff very friendly, nice clean place and children friendly. Would definitely be going making a return visit.

AWESOME Service, went for My Son's birthday. Great portions and very tasty Staff suggested Medium Rare steak... was to die for.... Friendly fast and efficient... commendation to all staff from the people on table 5!

The staff were friendly, polite and very efficient even though they were extremely busy we was not waiting too long to be served. There was plenty of choice for food and it all looked and tasted amazing, will definitely go again.

Best carvery we have had In telford.The staff are so friendly and every one is very helpful.The food was such a big suprise as there were roasted parsnips which is one of me and my kartners favourite vegetables not many places roast vedge so this was a nice touch. Was offered pigs in blankets too which they were lovley. The Yorkshire puddings now thats were we get good too as there home made and not frozen and tasted great. The potatos were cooked in some of the meat fat? I think they were as they tasted amazing. The beef was tender no fat at all.The staff even wrapped our cakes to go which was nice with a little bag.Thank you for such a lovley meal. Me and my partner will definitely be back for more carvery from you in the future. I couldn't fault today.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The service was very efficient and the cutlery and condiments were clean and full.I was going to have a carvery but decided to go for a Steak and Ale pie with roasted carrots, chips and gravy. I had the option of peas, mushy peas or baked beans. All of which I declined.At last, a proper pie with a full pastry base and not in a ceramic pot 👌. And the contents proper filled the pie. The carrots, roasted and a little bit crisp 👌. The chips were nice and crisp on the outside and fluffy inside 👌. Followed up with a Chocolate Indulgence Sundae👌. I feel complete. 👌🙂
