The Black Swan in Telford and Wrekin

It's a cheap and cheerful pub, popular with drinkers. The food is average; the jacket potatoes are microwaved and the desserts are ice cream or five varieties of sponge pudding. It's fine, and cheap, but its description as a gastropub is misleading.

I was on a Motorbike Club turn up. I had the fish and chips. It was really superb. A lovely location by the river.

We found this great pub/ restaurant just about a year ago, and it’s been a firm favourite ever since. Great food, great service and very friendly staff. If you want a great place to eat, this is it.

Very friendly and welcoming for a beer or for family eating. Would recommend booking. Food looked good, nice beer. Lovely outdoor tables for warmer days.

My first visit to the Black Swan, very impressed with the friendly atmosphere of the staff and locals, excellent food, dog friendly, lovely quaint old traditional pub. Will definitely be visiting again in the future.

Food was brilliant as always.But the time for ordering last pint was 10.30 my husband ordered a pint at 9.51,and was told that by 10.00 we would have to drink a whole pint and leave the pub.Usually you are given warning if we had we wouldn't have had the last pint,should have told us before we ordered it

Fantastic pub by the River Severn. Good Range of real ales and tasty food on offer. The staff were very friendly and helpful

Great location near the Ironbridge gorge and much quieter pub if you want to get away from the crowds of Ironbridge . Food reasonably priced. Just wish they did proper home made chips! ☹️ And lovely beer garden over looking the river Seven. Plenty of parking for cars, motorbikes or bicycles. Just a stones throw away from the popular walking route between a Ironbridge and Bridgnorth via the old railway line.
