Paid for 17 people to have an afternoon tea as a "Baby Shower" for my daughter. Booked over the telephone early January 2022, well in advance of the shower date, for 16 originally with possibility of it being 1 or 2 extra, no problem with that we were told, then just over a week before the event, which was on Easter Sunday, received a phone call saying the extra 1 person meant we would have to pay another £50 to move rooms, as we had already paid the balance we had little choice at such short notice. We arrived at the venue at 2pm,to be greeted by a wedding party on the lawns having photo's, I don't know who was more surprised. We were in the Mulliner room which had been partitioned off, on one long table pushed to one side of the room. The bar was closed, so our guests had to go into the bar area where the wedding reception was being held.Tea and coffees as you would expect, finger sandwiches were nice. but were equal to 2 each, Scones were dry, quiche was watery, we had choice of just 2 cakes, a dry chocolate brownie or a shortbread square with mousse piped on the top. I am not an afternoon tea novice , and this was disappointing. Would I recommend this venue for afternoon tea? No.We weren't given a time for the event to finish, but as we were packing up the cake ,balloons etc, around 4.30, we were joined by a man and 2 young women staff members hovering around us. When the cake was removed from the display table, they then set about organising the position of such and an additional table they brought in for the "buffet", I presume for the wedding taking place there. Feeling arkward we waited outside for our lift home. No one acknowledged us leaving.I have been to Xmas parties here and as far as I am aware, there are only 2 rooms for functions, the conservatory, where the Wedding breakfast was and the Mulliner Room, so not sure why we were charged extra for moving us to another room, as neither of the 2 events would have been booked at short notice, and I cannot see the difference between the 16 to 17 guests as far as space is concerned.Very poor for an event that lasted just over 2 hours and cost well over £440, not including the Prosecco bottles we purchased at £30 a bottle, along with other drinks.

Attended our grandaughters wedding yesterday, totally enjoyable day, room was amazing and afternoon tea was beautiful, only let down was breakfast, service was quite unorganised for whatever unknown reason but it wouldn't stop us returning. We'll done to your team that served the wedding party.

The hotel staff were incredibly sensitive and attentive to every detail for the celebration of life we held for my Mum. A beautiful venue with a calm and pretty setting. I would like to thank everyone involved and to encourage anyone looking to use to hotel as a venue for an occasion to be assured you will be well taken care of. Thank you

Lovely family run hotel. Staff friendly, room clean and spacious. Breakfast was good. Reason for 4 stars is came down to dinner room was very cold so ate elsewhere!

Room 4 is a health and safety hazrd. My wife and I stayed there for one night to celebrate her 60th birthday. The bathroom has a jacuzzi with steps up to it: these are in the wrong place, too near the door and well away from the handrail. My wife tripped and fell full length on the tiled floor, badly bruising her hip, arm and ankle. I wrote to the hotel advising them to move the steps adjacent to the wall and nearer the handrail, or to paint the steps a different colour (they are the same as the slate floor). I did not receive a reply.

Hadley Park were nothing short of sensational and truly made our whole wedding day the raving success that it was. The team, the food, the venue was just fantastic and we can’t thank them enough for making our day just the best ever!We had a very specific idea of what we wanted the wedding day to be, and the team at Hadley worked over and above to ensure that the vision became a reality. We booked exclusive use of the venue, and right from the start, together with the Chef, the Manager and the Wedding Coordinating Team, we were able to create the plan of what we were hoping for. We had visited many venues from the Cotswolds, to Birmingham, to the Welsh border and none of them provided the care and attention with the whole bespoke package we wanted like Hadley Park could. We didn’t have to worry about anything leading up to the day; the team were responsive, helpful and totally in control with no detail missed. Their expertise shining through from the moment we arrived to set up, to the second we left. All of our requirements were catered for, everyone was so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. All of our guests were blown away with the quality of the food, the warmth and attentiveness of the team and with how wonderful the venue looked - people were telling us for weeks after that it was the best wedding they had been to and that they were still dreaming of the food!I could fill a whole page with how phenomenal everything and everyone was, and if you are considering a wedding venue that could cater for something more unique, discerning and personal then I wouldn’t look any further than Hadley Park House.

Beautiful venue & a lovely place to visit but very disappointed about the food served for a traditional Christmas Party I attended on Saturday 18th after hearing really good reviews. I believe however they had a problem with the Chef walking out a couple of days prior so this may have had a knock on effect. Hopefully this issue has been sorted now and won't result in other parties being let down by missing starters & meals that weren't worth the cost!

This hotel has the most welcoming, friendly and helpful team who make the stay a real delight. The food was top quality too. We stayed in rooms within the Manor House itself, comfortable and clean. You could not have made us more welcome. We and our friends thank you for making the stay so pleasurable.

Went for a Christmas lunch with friends and was quite satisfied with everything.Staff were polite, helpful and efficient, food was well cooked, tasty and of decent portion size, Covid precautions were in order and toilets were clean. When I looked at the special menus, the prices seemed reasonable as well.My five stars are based on this single visit, of course, but if the rooms are of the same standard as the cooking, and the facilities and the standards remain consistent during the year, then they are well deserved.

We went here for afternoon tea for a birthday. There were 8 of us and they put us in a lovely private room it was gorgeous! The staff were lovely and the food was fresh and tasty. I did expect more food than we got for 8 particularly as I ordered for 10. Anyway the hotel is beautiful. Will definately go back!
