The Gratitude Cafe in Telford and Wrekin

Nice cafe but I don't recommend the pastry/sausage rolls which have a lot of gristle in.

Visited The Gratitude Cafe weekly for the past month with my son for an afternoon pot of tea and soft drink. The place is a calm comfortable place for a restful catch up on an afternoon. The Gratitude has a large space for customers to spread out in a variety of seating - some lower comfortable leather chairs and sofas on the right hand side of the room with more tradition chairs and tables on the left. The bar / serving area is on the rear left hand side with orders taken their and then delivered to your table. A stage is set up at the front of the space and music performances are offered during various times of the week .

Always a good coffee and cake to be had here. It's all homemade and reasonably priced. Their lunch menu has lots to offer but fairly standard. Beware the sticky table tops, not sure why as they are cleaned.

Great atmosphere, very good customer service, lots of folks chatting,felt really comfortable and welcome. Order at till its then delivered to the table,drinks and food if ordered. Great temptation of cakes by till too!!!

The food was brilliant here, the service really really needs some work though. When we arrived it wasn't busy inside yet almost every empty table, which made up most of the place was filled with dirty dishes and cups. We waited for someone to remove the dirties from any table and they didn't get taken away until our food was brought out. We received our food before our drinks on a not-busy morning, and we were asked quite a few times if we were sure some drinks that they kept bringing over weren't ours. The girl on the cash register was shouting at the other servers at one point! Food was lovely, service needs alot of work.

Visited for the first time today after hearing wonderful things. Absolutely spot on All Day Breakfast in a very nice cafe aesthetically to sit inside. 100% will be returning.

Amazing little cafe. Food was really delicious. I had the bacon, brie and cranberry bagel and I wanted to eat it all over again. My partner had a sausage sandwich and now we need to track down the local butcher to buy those sausages! Milkshakes were really yummy and vegan which worked out well for my lactose intolerant partner! They have live music here and offer alcoholic drinks for later in the day! Don't walk, run to this place!

Fantastic service, lovely afternoon tea . Friendly staff. Definitely will go back .

2nd visit we had lunch this time. Mum had the ploughman's which was presented lovely with good variety. 3 cheeses, ham and pork pie. The pie was the only let down every thing else was delicious. I had pastrami and cream cheese bagel. Delicious, bagel wasn't hard and enough for lunch. Was busy for a Wednesday lunch time. Drinks are good the smoothies and shakes coming out looked yummy feel that I need to try. All reasonably priced. Good atmosphere.
