The Ironbridge Fish and Chip shop in Telford and Wrekin

Food was great I had chicken meat and chips and my partner had fish and chips. All of which was very tasty. There is a nice outdoor seating area at the back if the weather is good. Would definitely recommend this chippy. We had to queue for 15 mins for food but it was well worth it.

Fish and chips horrible.This is not fresh cod. No taste at all.Only chips ok.Disappointed really.I leave there over 45 pounds.First and last time.

Had fish and chips sat on an outside bench looking at the bridge under the stars. Absolutely lovely and generous portions. Missed out on 5 stars as only large fish available but still ate all of it!

Excellent food. Phone to order before you go and it's ready in heated glass front for when you get there. Update wed 2nd Feb 2022. Been to purchase usual fish and chips bu unfortunately the fish was so dry and batter was rock hard. Its the first time it's happened so hopefully just an off day. So downgraded to 4 stars until we go again.

A busy night, beautiful freshly cooked chips, staff helpful smiling and friendly Best chips in the area,definitely recommend.

Just had battered sausage and chips the sausage was lovely. The chips were discussing hard and felt like yesterday's chips. Won't order again

This area is a tourist honeypot, so it's all the more amazing that this place offers generous portions of well cooked food at very down to earth prices. The medium sized portion of chips is more than sufficient for any human - you'd have to be an elephant to eat a large portion.

This has always been a great fish and chip shop. However over the last six months it has changed. The fish is no longer soft and fleshy, it is dry and the batter is hard. We have tried to support our local shop, but i am afraid it has not improved and it is very disappointing.Hope the owner will look into this and resolve the problem.

Great fish and chips. Dare I say it but it's almost on quality with Yorkshire fish and chips!!! Great outside seating area. Clean and offers more than just fish and chips.

A crackin chippy with really friendly staff. The place is clean and has a fantastic eating area in the back, overlooking the river.
