"It's great to be back! Thank you for your ongoing support over the last year. A few things to consider before you visit: Booking is not essential, though we would recommend you book in advance. Outdoor service is limited to guests in groups of six or two households (no limit on number) is permitted. Please note we may need to vary our opening hours and food service times given the time of year and the unpredictable nature of our Great British weather! Track and trace requirements have changed meaning all guests over 16 years of age must check in and provide their contact details. Unfortunately we must refuse service if guests do not comply. To get the most up-to-date notices on our re-opening, keep an eye on our Facebook page."

Great little pub. Nice food really well priced, and only a stumble away from my mum's house, perfect!

Nice place for a beer stop on a bike ride. Great outdoor space with heating and cover.

This pub has massively changed since we last came. Food and service were fantastic. Very well priced too. Lovely friendly staff, would highly recommend.

A great pub for locals and visitors alike. Food is very good quality and value, especially the Sunday lunch. Beer is kept in very good condition and a wide choice for those who don't really appreciate a real ale. Dog friendly too 👍

We had very tasty chicken and plant-based burgers, reasonable prices. Fast, friendly service and covid safe. Good place to stop for food if you're out on a bike ride. Just missing an espresso machine.

Amazing roast dinner best we've had in ages and we eat out every Sunday. Great service, very trad pub needing a little work but outstanding (stuffing looked odd but tasted yum)

Warm and friendly welcome. Dogs allowed in some parts of the pub as well as muddy boots, so a fantastic way to end a walk. Lovely to sit outside in the beer garden on warmer days. Great menu with good offers available most days of the week. Food quality and service are excellent. Highly recommended.

Here for a birthday party, 8 of us in total. Waitress was very friendly. The food all arrived on time and was correct. Steak was a little overcooked, otherwise the meal was OK. Finding towels drying on the radiator next to the table we were seated at was a bit strange!Reasonable prices - £10 for a bottle of red wine.
