Spent a lovely sunny lunchtime over looking the river from inside this lovely 17th century old Inn. Great pint of Holden's Golden glow as pictured. Really cosy, authentic pub in a lovely location. Great service, great beer - will return for sure!

Me & Peter loved this place.. Great staff, especially Ben, his sister and Lou ( our nick name for the girl who cooked breakfast and other meals)... Really friendly and welcoming..

Bar was shut as not enough staff. Booked an inn out of town so we could have a few quiet drinks before bed, so disappointing in that respect.If I owned this place I'd make sure i stood in for the missing staff. But you never know what might be happening at the time like a pandemic or something, so can't just go on our experience. The venue has a lot of potential due to its outdoor area's and if it was advertising evening meals it might be busy enough to staff more.Basic rooms but comfy beds, so if you can get a decent price for the night then okay.

Great location and charming little pub.Friendly and helpful staff, always a pleasure to visit while on the able walking routea nearby.Plenty of outdoor seating with views of the river.

This was my 1st visit here and it's a very decent good Pub in my opinion. The staff are great, the beer I drank was a decent pint of San Miguel and there was generally a positive atmosphere.
