Zizzi in Telford and Wrekin

Despite the food being fantastic as always feel the service as slipped dramatically, after booking a table we were put in a area with no lighting had to use our phone torches to read the menu, after waiting for minimum 20 minutes we had to get the attention of a waitress to order drinks, a further 15 minutes they asked if we wanted to move to a area with lighting which obviously we said yes. We also had bowling booked however halfway through our meal we had to rush over to change the time of the booked bowling as 2 hours was not enough for the staff to cope. Food was fantastic however it was clear they were overstretched by just eat orders which were prioritised over customer eating in

Food was lovely but service was exceptionally slow. I also have to say the toilets were filthy and in need of a very deep clean in all bathrooms, which doesn’t really fill you with confidence on the state of the kitchens. We opted for the 3 course lunchtime menu, in total we were in the restaurant for almost 3 hours, and with 2 very young children this was far too long to wait (especially for pizza which takes minutes to cook). Staff weren’t very attentive at all. We sat for 30 mins after finishing meals waiting for plates to be cleared away, and we had more than half eaten our meals before the mayonnaise we had requested arrived. I don’t think we’ll be going back to this particular restaurant in a hurry

Good quality of service from two members of staff. Had a very long wait for the meal. We had starter's and main. Table was booked for 7. At 8.40 we were apologised to for the long wait for our mains, and offered free drinks for the inconvenience. We accepted, I asked for a cappuccino and was told that unfortunately it wasn't possible as it had been shut off and cleaned. I said that people usually finish their meal with a coffee. The answer was that it was not available. This was from a young man in a black shirt,(manager or shift supervisor) . After taking our order we didn't see him again. It was another 20minutes before we got our meal. As others were finishing their meal the very pleasant barman was seen taking coffee's to another table. ????. As we were seated by the bar l turned and asked if I could have a cappuccino. His answer was. With pleasure. He was one of the nice guys. Unfortunately my meal wasn't very nice. And we didn't order any desserts as we could have been waiting for an hour for them. Others in the party was satisfied with their meal. Some thought it was just ok. I myself don't intend to frequent the restaurant again. While we were in there, they must have turned at least 20 people away. There were only a few tables occupied. PLEASE be aware that they add a service tip on the bill. There were 9 adults 3 children one of whom was 2. They added £27 on top of the bill. We didn't have to pay it, but my kind hearted brother paid £15.

The food was excellent. Especially the garlic bread with mozzarella cheese. The young staff services were really attentive. As a visitor to Telford often, have been in other restaurants in Southwater and this is one of the best for good food and courteous young staff.

This is one of our family favourites. The food is great and the price is decent.

They didn't even have half the stuff that we wanted, chips were 10/10 but everything else was meh

Delicious rustica pizza's and decent service. Liked the outdoor sitting facilities too; toilets really clean. Would definitely eat here again.
