Beverley Hotel in Walsall

Stayed June 2022!!! This hotel ticks all of the wrong boxes. Its past 2.30am in the morning... I can't sleep in this dump. I thought it was illegal to leave a hotel in this state... And have people pay!!! In fact this is not a hotel, its a low standard one star bed and breakfast or hostel. The pics taken in my room are embarrassing. V old carpet, holes in the walls, mildew in bathroom, peeling paint, filthy towels ( not touched or used) a 1990s mattress and furniture and baaaad pillows. Oh yes I forgot to mention the smell. I must say the staff were polite and delivered a level of customer service. This "hotel" needs to temp close down and focus on updating the rooms. Who advised the hotelier to fix the bar and ground floor first before the rooms? Huh? Its deceptive coz you believe the rooms are at the same standard...wrong...I wish these agencies would stop adverising this dive and insist they fix the bleedin place up before letting people pay and stay. Booked for work last minute and ooh am i regretting the decision made in haste. I would never stay here again. I'm not fussy but you dont have to be fussy, you just have to be ordinary people who are not staying in their homes and need a room , bed, shower and things to make you feel nice. Bev Hotel does not meet any standards. Staying up until ready to work in a few hours and leave, never to return. What a bleeding liberty!!!

We got married yesterday and had our reception in the garden room food and service was exceptional 👌 stayed the night and was perfect will recommend

THE WORST HOTEL EVER!!!!! Booked a night stay and there was no hot water! £80 for a night and no hot water! Simply ridiculous.

Our room at the back of the hotel was a bit tired but serviceable. Apparently they are in the process of refurbishment. We had a good night's sleep. The food in the restaurant was lovely and every member of staff we spoke to was polite and helpful.

Stayed here for one night went to get a drink and some food after travelling all afternoon and was told it was card payments only didn't state it on there Web site and the WiFi didn't work and no phone signal that's why it's a 1 should be a zero

Clean but decor needs updating can't moan for 45pounds a nite for a double room staff friendly

Good side, staff are very friendly, food are the best, room was smaller than I was expecting but clean with free coffee and tea, nice toilet with big bath tub and shower.Bad side, television is small with signal playing up, bed was a bit hard, key take so long to open sometimes and you can hear the next door talking.

Very friendly & professional service, they make everyone welcome & do everything that they can to help with anything that you may need or want, their food is absolutely delicious so much so that we decided to eat at this hotel instead of eating out likewe used to at all the other places where we have stayed. My sister and I will be booking another stay at this hotel after xmas when we go to visit friends and family again, this hotel is very reasonably priced and excellent value for money. We used to stay at a different place regularly in the past, however since finding this hotel we feel better & happier staying at this particular hotel, plus the food is absolutely delicious (they are proud of their chef & food, rightly so).

Had our wedding reception here on 14.08.21 and it was fantastic.Jake and the rest of the staff went above and beyond. The night staff dressed the room and pics were sent to put our minds at ease.Can't fault the place. Thank you all.

Oh my, what a transformation!!! We went for Sunday Lunch and it was delicious. Piping hot, great quality food and really good portions. The meat is from the local butcher, Hills ( in the Butts) so is really tasty. Variety of fresh, well cooked veg, followed by a yummy pudding. The refurb is great and I would highly recommend giving them a try.
