Great friendly service. Food was very very delicious, reminded me of home. Very authentic cantonese food. Chicken fried rice in curry sauce was such a banger, highly recommended!!!

I came from America to the UK to visit back in 2014. I happened to be in the neighborhood and I was hungry and I came across the restaurant, so I had to try how's the Chinese food in the UK difference or similar from the US. The food was the worst and awful Chinese food I had ever taste in my entire life. The Chinese food in the UK cannot compare to the Chinese food in the US. I can't give any lower mark than a 1 star otherwise I would give the restaurant - minus 5 stars.

Best Chinese takeaway that I know.

The quality and especially the taste of food are way below par. Had some wings and they are not cooked properly, very tough to bite in and the bbq sauce, terrible. The colour of the wings I can see they used food coloring on them. The fried beef was like chewing cardboard and I couldn't swallow it did not taste like beef. No thank you Cantonese Express, won't be using you again

UNPROFESSIONAL! RUDE! POOR MANAGEMENT!I have ordered from Cantonese express many times before with no issues. However this evenings experience was terrible. I ordered via the telephone for delivery to pay with cash as usual. I was told that the order would take up to an hour to arrive which wasn’t out of the ordinary. However about 45 minutes after ordering the food I received a call from the shop and was asked if I wanted to pay via card and was informed that the delivery driver was at my address. I explained that I wanted to pay using cash and I hadn’t seen the delivery driver yet. The staff member on the phone informed me that the driver had apparently been to my address and spoke to a male who requested to pay using card. I informed the staff member on the phone that the delivery driver had not in fact arrived at my address. The staff member on the phone said that she was confused, I was just as confused. I explained that the driver must have went to the wrong address. I shared my concern that I worried that my food may be cold when it eventually arrives, and explained that I would like to have hot food. I was reassured that the driver was outside and the phone call ended. Approximately 10 minutes after the phone call, the buzzer to my apartment went and it was eventually the delivery driver. I asked what had happened and the delivery driver explained that there was a mix up with a receipt from the shop. The food was cold so I explained to the delivery driver that I wanted hot food and he said he would take it back to the shop. I called the shop to explain that the food had in-fact arrived cold and asked if I could have fresh food and the mix up was at fault of the shop. I was told that I would not have any food sent to my address as it was my fault. According to the driver he arrived at my address and a male asked to pay with card and the delay was him getting the card machine from the car (I am female and the buzzer had only rang once that evening when the driver arrived with the cold food). I was told to order from another restaurant. I am very disappointed and annoyed and would not recommend the restaurant. Giving the restaurant 1 star is being generous!

Best Chinese takeaway ever !. It's a bit further to go but so much better than any others I have tried. Çonsistently excellent.

I've been going to Cantonese Express fairly regularly for years and, in all that time, they've never got an order wrong or given me a meal that wasn't perfect. They're friendly and fast too. My menu recommendation would be the Singapore chow mein!

Without doubt the worst Chinese I have ever had , beef curry the meat tasted slimy and wafer thin curry not well mixed at all had lumps in the chips were the best thing the egg fried rice for some reason had some sort of green stuff in maybe spring onion making it taste horrible who puts that in egg fried rice very very disappointed order from here as I seen good reviews you who rated it must have terrible taste that's all I can say
