Clove in Walsall

Ordered a curry and lentils from this place last night for the very first time. I must say absolutely awful and disgusting food and service. The lentils had no salt in and it wasnt even lentils it was soup and the chicken curry must have been frozen where they say its cooked fresh well it wasnt because the chicken was still hard and cold not even defrosted properly the naan bread and roti was cold and hard!!!!! So i ring them to get a refund and they just fob me off saying they cant give a refund and i told them to come and have a look at the food and take it away and they hang the phone up on me. Rung three more times and they never answered my call. How do these people run a business!!! If i could you wouldnt even get 1 star!!! Please guys BE AWARE OF CLOVE BALTI. Absolute disgrace and appalling!!!!!

Had first takeaway from the Clove and although the food tasted ok the delivery came without the rice. As this was an important part of the meal I phoned the restaurant to say it was missing, immediately got fobbed off being told they could not bring it. Offered to give something free next time or collect the rice myself, ummm no pal if I wanted to collect it I would have done it for the whole order! Told them I wanted the money back as I'm not planning on using their restaurant again and guess what....still waiting!! Terrible service!!!!!!!

Just had a curry delivered and all you can taste is salt very dissatisfied wont even ANSWER the phone even though they open till 12pm and its only just gone 11:35 total disaster of a curry WONT GIVE THEM ANY MORE CUSTOM even though we have used them for years

This place is a family favourite! Always very good food and excellent service, with a great sense of humour, which adds to the overall experience. Will definitely be back soon!

Just had a fantastic family meal here with my wife son and nanny and grandad food was amazing and staff where all so happy and friendly can not fault them at all fantastic dining experience. Look forward to visiting again. Thanks everyone and Merry Christmas.

Food was lovely. Very tasty and a good choice. Speed of service was slow and service regarding table etiquette could be improved. Otherwise, a very good meal!
