Deep Blue Fish & Chips in Walsall

Only got a star so I could leave a review... poor chippy..thought I'd give it a go as tried most chippys within a 10 mile radius, won't be eating the s#it from here again

Deep blue #$%££6.50 for kebab meat and no chips .really mate ,sort it out

Lovely food not at,all greasy.Allways tastes fresh.Kebabs are to die for.Only problem is you usually have to wait a long time for your order,but that's because they are sorting out deliveries and there is usually a big queue.But it is well worth the wait.

If you are going to this shop go at least 30 mins after opening or you will be getting heated up chips wedges etc they seem to care more about phone orders than servicing people in the shop these days

Horrendous experience. Food took 30 minutes even though I was the only customer in there and originally I was told it would take 7. Tried to give me a disgusting piece of chicken so he put in another 1 found out later it looked the same as the first. Chips were cold and hard and oily, didn't put my sauce on I asked for. Ended up getting a refund because it was inedible. Had to mouth wash my mouth after eating 1 chip because it made me feel sick. Overall wasted about an hour of my life. Avoid at all costs.

Disappointed, been using this chip shop since it opened. had the worst Friday night dinner ever. The fish did not taste right and the batter is what i can only describe as weird, as if the recipe has changed. Will not be going back :(

How much has this place gone downhill ?1 person there being served when I arrived at 5.00 pm.3 drivers in and out serving, not one sanitised or washed their hands and NONE of them had masks on yet the customers have to wear them.Girl serving more bothered about the drivers new haircut than serving people. Rammed by the time I left with 2 kebabs ......25 minutes later. While serving she went to tie her hair up......someone else who didn’t wash their hands,Only bothered about deliveries and the drivers treat it like a social club.Get home and the warmest part of the kebab was the SALAD.Plenty of other chip shops round here who might appreciate my business🤬🤬🤬🤬🤮🤮🤮🤮Shame you can’t give NO stars rating above.

Shockingly bad customer service the kids went in for a bag of chips whilst I waited in the car. 15 minutes later and with no one else in the shop they still hadn’t been served. When I entered the shop the person behind the counter was busy packing online orders rather than dealing with the customers in the shop. What was once a great chip shop has had a rapid decline in quality all round which I can only assume has come from sheer greed of the owners and taking on far to many orders via online platforms at the neglect of customers in the actual shop. Will never use this chip shop again.

Disgusting, food arrived 20 minutes late. Chips were stale looked like reheated from previous service. fish batter undercooked and just fell apart, southern fried chicken small and looked reheated and old. No salad on kebab. Very sad looking all round. Avoid at all costs. Spoke to restaurant they stated this can happy when busy but this was a Sunday evening. Didoffer a voucher for next order but worthless as certainly wont be ordering from here again.

26th September was really disgusted with what happened tonight, for years we come from Sutton Coldfield to get fish and chips from Deep blue because they are lovely fish and chips but after night we will never get fish and chips from them again. My partner entered the queue of 2 people he gave his order and like all others waited politely out side. I was sat in the car with our son. Waiting nicely other people came gave their orders and waited outside 15 people ordered and severed and 2 delivery guys later my partner gets asked is this your order like not even an apology for keeping him waiting 45 minutes my partner I were kept waiting... Never again..
