Farmer John's in Walsall

A nice “local” chain pub. Beer well kept and going by the amount of people eating good food.

3 of us went for Sunday lunch and were served by Alison.Order taken in good time, with the 'elder' in our party going for a traditional Sunday roast, while the other 2 went for starters followed by a Burger. All items (starters, mains and sides) were requested to be brought out together, which they were, nothing missing.Very pleasantly surprised at the food quality and quantity, particularly my 'Buffalo wings' starter, which are all too often horribly greasy or cooked to a crisp!!.Server was attentive but not constantly hovering asking 'is everything ok?' and was easily obtainable when needed. This is how I like it and so, was happy with the service.Overall, very happy and will certainly eat there again.

We had the pleasure of having a large family meal at Farmer John's. We were greeted by our extremely professional, helpful and friendly waitress and taken to our table. The service was excellent and all of our food amazing. Steaks cooked perfectly and the cod and chips just lush. We look forward to visiting again very soon.

Came here after the gym last week we were able to book online for a table as we arrived it was a nice atmosphere the staff are very friendly and the best part is the mains are two for one. I had a chicken and bacon salad it was fairly simple nothing over-the-top the portion was a little small considering it was £15 and it came in the bowl that the desserts come in

Nice ambiance. Seat by the fire which was welcome on a cold day. Good service, good choice of food, listened and positively responded to special requests on menu changes, good quality of food. Ordered lemon muffin cheese cake which wasn’t available but offered lemon and ginger which was wonderful, ordered tea after meal, lack of tea pots but it didn’t spoil the experience . Would definitely go back

Our waitress was so friendly and helpful. She gave us plenty of time to decide what we wanted without us feeling pressured. The food was delicious. We love eating out and Farmer John's is our favourite. Thank you .😍

Very quiet when we got there, but then again it was a Monday and to be expected. We were out for my daughters 14th birthday - her choice of venue. Service and starters were great as were the mains, fish and chips were fab. The extra large hunters chicken was a bit dry. It would have been better if the chicken was served side by side with BBQ sauce, bacon and cheese over the both of them rather than the chicken on top of each other, this would have made a huge difference.

We had booked elsewhere for lunch at 12.15pm NYE. A table of 9. The original pub had a disaster in the kitchen and wasn't able to serve us after starters. Farmer Johns came to our rescue took us in and served us a lovely meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Food was fine. Service friendly but on the slow side.

When we arrived at 12.15 it was quiet but half an hour later it started to fill up ,we booked a table but I saw lots that hadn't and were seated just fine .. lady who served us at our table was lovely.. food was ready in approx 15mins and was delicious and hot and best of all two for the price of one ..
