Tiffany and the team have only recently taken over and working hard to make the pub great again. Food is back on the menu and had an excellent mixed grill in there the other day, ive also sampled the ultimate burger and its massive and was cooked perfectly. Hopefully Tiffany and the team will have huge success and looking forward to seeing where they take the One man and his dog.Good luck

My new local since moving into the area but have visited prior to moving - was a big draw to move to the area as having a good local is important to me. Always excellent service, good atmosphere and feels like a safe space to have a quiet drink. Have also eaten here and the food has been excellent. The efforts made during the pandemic have also been really impressive.

No staff only one selection of old ales been like that for 12mths , shame it could be such a good pub in a great catchment area

First impressions the new decor was good. However, the pool table area was ridiculously loud. The beer was good and we had no problem finding a table. The meal was an anticlimax out of 7 diners 3 were ok but not great the 2 were ok and 2 were appalling. The wait for food was far too long considering the fact that there was only one other table dining. The meal was transport cafe standard at best.
