Lovely restaurant, food and service was excellent

Fantastic place to eat.Taj is an accommodating and friendly host.Nothing is too much trouble.Food is top quality.Went in there with my family and mother and father in law. Everyone enjoyed their meal.I had shami kebab to start. Hot fresh and tasty.Main. Course was a special Biryani . Top class. Good portion size. Accompanied with a warm fresh floury RotiIf you haven’t been ……go …,,you won’t be disappointed.IJ

This is my local restaurant and its always top quality food. I like how I can order food that's not in the menu and they will always accommodate. Only 4 stars purely because I felt by the time we were nearing our last meal whilst sat in the restaurant it got quite busy and given they have a second room it seemed unnecessarily cramped given COVID so would have got the full 5 stars if they had spread us all out a little more.

Great food and service Iv been here 3 times after coming with a party of 16. I will definitely be returning again .Very welcoming and the food was great with nice Portions no complaints off me

At first we were served roti which was uncooked and so we sent it back, we were also served keema which smelt gone off, and my daughter was eating it at first as she had a cold and didn't realise, but when I tried I realised it's off. We then called for the manager but the waiter instead offered to replace the food or get something new and then the manager came and tasted the food and said "it's fine" in a dismissive tone. He was defensive and not ready to address our concerns and was rude about it. We also had to pay the full amount for the food we were dissatisfied with, regardless if it would cause us to have an upset tummy or not. This was my first experience here and my last experience too.

We been there today, we ordered two dishes, one for me and my husband and second dish was qeema curry for my daughter , she was eating but not with interest, so when I tasted, it was spoiled and gone off food, I was shocked, I called up the manager but one of them tasted and agreed but the other member of staff,called himself manager didn't agree and dismissed our concern which is very strange. We are not coming here againManager was very defensive and self obsessed, he never accepted my concerns and charged me the full amount including gone off food, very very rude and money hungry restaurant, I will never recommend this place to anyone .

First time here following a recommendation and was not disappointed. Great atmosphere as it was quite busy for mid-week. Decent portion sizes and both our Chicken and Lamb dishes were very tasty. Will definitely be returning.

We had a meal on Saturday night with our friends. It was only our second visit and a year later because of Covid, but it was even better than our first meal. The food is amazing, and you are made to feel like a special guest as soon as you walk in the door. I only wish it was closer to where we live! Try it for yourself, and you will see what I mean!

Spent a very pleasant evening at the Kajal with friends. The meal, as always, was outstanding, and the service provided by Taj faultless. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Kajal, for any occasion. Eat in or take out, the food is consistent, and by far the best curry house in Walsall.. Good prices too 😊

Used to love it here but the past couple of orders have been average at best. Final straw was tonight's keema naan I had to hunt inside for any meat, what was there was gristle anyway. Time to find a new takeaway I'm afraid.
