Rickshaw indian takeaway in Walsall

Best curry we've ever had. We've moved to Lincolnshire but still drive back regularly to see friends and family, and will be collecting their delicious passandas to take back with us and freeze till the next visit.Never been able to find a better curry than at the Rickshaw. Wish we still lived nearby just to still be able to order a takeaway!

We lived in Streetly for 30 years and always bought our takeaways at the Rickshaw and always to the highest standard, we moved to the East coast of Scotland 3 years ago and couldn't get a curry anywhere near, so when we drove back to Streetly we bought some curries from the Rickshaw to take back to Scotland, we gave some of our neighbours a taste and they asked me next time to bring them some back, I'm now on the 3rd trip and just brought back over 30 curries, in fact me car has been nicknamed the Tesla Tandoori. I take the best Scottish Smoked salmon back to Streetly so I don't drive to England with an empty boot.

Ordered a chicken biryani which was tasteless. It was chicken and boiled rice, no flavours whatsoever! The vegetable sauce to go with it was ok.

Food is always delicious, always need to wait but for me that tells me the food is freshly cooked!

Best curry around, I live in Sheffield and when I come to Birmingham to visit friends I always make sure I get a rickshaws curry.If I could give it more than 5 star I would.

Tried Rickshaw for the first time yesterday. They state Indian Take Away, but it is actually Bangladeshi cuisine. Different taste to Indian food.Had the Chicken Pakora which was the one stand out dish - would order it again.Chicken Biryan was very bland. No spices or flavour.Veg Samosa which was ok, bit soggy.Chicken Chaat was a portion of Jalfrezi type dish on a Poori / Batoora. Wasn't expecting that 👎.The mint sauce was made with sweet yoghurt - again, wasn't expecting that 👎.Halal food.

Don't live in the area anymore, but whenever I'm back to see the parents this place is a must. One of the best Curry's I've ever had outside of India. Old man had been coming since it opened in 95 and won't ever stop.

The food from Rickshaw is first class. We have been customers for many years. The staff are helpful and polite. Good value for money. Highly recommended.

Ordered click and collect, arrived at the given time and ended up stood around waiting for another 20 minutes! Otherwise really good food, but they need to sort out their service!

Well decided to have a home delivery. Never again!!!! Took 2 hours and the food was medioca. Such a shame. Usually quite good. Had a pashwari naan and it was like a lump of dough. Maybe they had forgot about the order. Rang twice.
