Shimla Balti & Tandoori in Walsall

Utterly disgusted with tonight's service from SHIMLA. My parents have been regular, loyal customers here for over a year, literally ordering on average 2 takeaways a week!My dad personally went in to the restaurant to book a table for this evening earlier in the week, all was okay and wrote in the diary, however, when we walked into the restaurant there had been a 'managerial error' and our table had been taken. There were 7 of us, including 3 babies who were all hungry and due a feed.This was just not good enough, considering how loyal my parents have been to the restaurant, and there were no apologies. Unfortunately my parents won't be eating here in the future.

We had a table booked here but unfortunately due to "managerial error" the table was given away. I suspect this is a lie and the table was given away because they did not want to follow through on their promise of allowing my party to order the 5 course menu deal on a bank holiday.Due to this unfortunate event I can't comment on the food but I will not be recommending Shimla to anyone because of an awful lack of customer service.

Food good value for money although I found my meal was a little salty. Staff friendly. Would go again and try another meal.

I use Shimla regularly for takeaways/deliveries and we also go there to dine in. Staff are always pleasant and the food is always very good.
