Shimla Indian Restaurant in Walsall

We used to eat here regularly but havnt been for app 2 years.The service was slow and the waiters were rushing around.The food was a joke..tasteless and bland without any flavours!This was the worst meal we have ever had in a restaurant!!Will never go back..avoid

This restaurant has got to be one of the best local dinning places serving Indian/ Punjabi quality food. Great food, attentive staff, perfect decor. Enjoyed appetiser of poppadoms & dips, starter of Fish Amritsari and main course was Lamb Karachi with a side of rice & didn’t need a dessert but others in our group chose the cheese cake which tasted amazing. Couldn’t fault it. Would certainly visit again.

Very nice food and the outdoor area is lovely. Would recommend for special occasions as quite pricey!

Love this restaurant, some traditional dishes and lots I've never heard of so make sure I try a different one every time and so far all have been delicious. The king prawns are great. My son is vegan and they adapted some vegetarian dishes to suit. Great service, lovely restaurant with good vibes and great heated outdoor area. Fully licenced. Car park. Entrance and walk from car park not suitable for wheelchairs.

We said the food would have to be terrible for us not to come back as the restaurant is lovely! Unfortunately, the portions sizes are so bad my 75-year-old mother finished in under 5 minutes!Ordered a Stuffed Paratha and looked at me as if I was from another planet! (Not the end of the world, we thought)1 Naan bread between 3 of us was literally a small flat slice each!Chicken size was disgraceful.Vindaloo, Madras etc...is not on the Menu!Also, either management & staff comprise what look like a couple of 18-year-old'sAvoid this place unless you are a tiny eater!Actually felt like calling the police as mad as that sounds!

Was there last night with family and the portion sizes are very small indeed. The food is tasty but clearly the portion sizes need addressing given the price. Nice friendly staff etc but not value for money.

Excellent experience service and food. The waiting is very attentive without being overpowering.The curry's were amazing and succulent 👌🏻Prices were great for the money and won't break the bank.Will be returning.

What a nice little find. Hidden but very nicem cobra was on point. Food was really nice and the ambience was nice. Great atmosphere and staff very friendly. Regulars really set the scene. Shot out to the old boys and ghandi! Will definitely be back again.keep up the good work and keep the Kormas coming.also you can pick up local Pokémon gym if your into that sort of thinh

I cannot recommend this enough, fantastic food and what a wonderful atmosphere. Hidden gem in Birmingham. Best curry house I've been to in ages, and lovely garden.
