Sultan Cottage in Walsall

After two years our meal tonight was as good as it ever was. We both chose the same items from the menu and all were as good as before covid struck. Love the new layout and decor.

We we're regular customers until a couple of years ago when the COVID pandemic struck, but we are glad to say they have recently re-opened, we had a very nice meal there tonight, friendly and helpful staff, and excellent food, we shall certainly be visiting again soon, well done Sultan!👍

Pukka food and the kids loved it there

We have been ordering from this restaurant for many months and the food has always been second to none. However, the last two times we have ordered our usual dish (pathia) it has been very runny and on par with a microwave curry you would buy from a budget shop. What has gone wrong? Has the chef changed? We are really disappointed and considering going to an alternative restaurant.

This is our local and we regularly have take away and in different times, eat in. The food is always excellent and would normally be 5 stars. Tonight, however, not so good. Tastey enough but far too runny and watery. Mine was plain chicken and should've been tikka. That said, it was all very hot and fresh.

Food was good,sadly poor service between courses. Bring your own alcohol as no license to serve any, but no soft drinks as they have there own. At fifteen minutes between starter ordered and twenty for main course. When asked for tap water cold, we did not receive a drink nor asked again until desert! Not happy with that.They even managed to destroy a birthday cake, without a good enough appology this Friday night to the lady or party group.Again range of food is good and tasty afood hygiene rating of 3 given on 13 Dec 2016.Looks new and aparently clean though big cracks appear, to be honest can not see an improvement on 3 another inspection due in 2020? Would we eat hear again, yes probably but would like to see imrovement on service and waiting time here. I score places on cleanliness, service and quality of food. Food 5, service 4 and cleanliness 2. As posted state of mens toilet as when you walk in lools new but deceiving. Two hours 20 for a two course meal?

Have had a few meals dining here now and all have been excellent, fresh and well presented. Just had first take away delivered and that was equally as good. Would most definitely recommend

Our local Indian restaurant and we always have a nice meal there. This occasion was no different and we had a lovely meal with friends. A typically extensive menu of starters and mains. Service is prompt, but we didn't feel rushed. Not licensed so take our own alcohol, but they serve soft drinks.
