Lovely friendly pub, meals are great and good quality and value.

·

Fine for a couple of drinks. We sat outside due to the nice hot weather!

yesterday was first time trying and had to say was very disappointed, tikka masala and pilau rice taste like its microwave curry not fresh, came with friends and there food was ok. weve all woke up today with upset stomachs.

Me and my husband ordered a few dishes on the menu which were suggested by the manager, very friendly staff each dish was delicious! The 2 curries and a fish starter was beautifully flavoured and was cooked perfectly! I definitely will be going back here.

Not coming here again!! Lamb chops were cold, called manager I think she is, she replied that they'd been eaten so she couldn't swap them. Obviously had to eat some in order to know that they're cold. As she wouldn't swap them, had to eat it all cold. My friend also tried some and said they were cold. Masala chips overdone and full of salt. Told my friend to try some and even he said they were cold. My friends food was still warm while mine was cold. Any good restaurant would swap the food and want the customer to be happy. Obviously no idea about customer service, being typical and not wanting to swap the food. Don't think they realise if a customer has an unhappy experience, they won't come back. Whereas, a happy experience means you get repeat business. No idea about good customer service.

I will never return to this place again. It is very (very) rare for me to complain! The attitude of the manager was appalling. The chicken piece (from a mixed grill) was clearly under cooked and so tough to cut! As well as cold. Manager came over, no apology and poor customer service. Offered to swap that one piece of chicken!!! I Asked for all the chicken pieces to be replaced, she asked me why ?! And told me to try the other chicken pieces as they may be ok?! Expecting me to check the chicken pieces whilst she stood there! What a weird and bizarre experience. Not forgetting to mention uncomfortable. Any manager with decent customer service would have swapped the whole tray! Also the manager pointing her finger towards the table was odd too! Not seen that before. Anyway … my point is, I will not return & do not recommend this place at all.

First time ordering from here this evening and the whole family enjoyed it, I phoned up to place an order and the lady I spoke to was lovely, The food came quick and was beautifully cooked I would highly recommend this restaurant to Family/friends.

My wife and I went for a meal, we had a normal sized mixed grill each, mine meat and hers veg with a side of masala chips between us. Neither of us could fault the meals and we couldn't finish everything as the portions were so generous. Lots of veg options on the menu initially made us decide to come here and the friendly staff made it a lovely experience.100% will be coming again.

One of the best mix grills in walsall / birmingham. Really nice place very welcoming. Foods fantastic not just Indian food on the menu. Worth a visit.

The newly opened lounge to the rear of the tradionally furbished bar looks absolutely stunning since it has been renovated. With a good range of tradiotional Indian and English food, this is an ideal venue for large groups wanting a bite to eat and a thirst to quench at a price that won't give your wallet a bash.Try it for yourself and see.
