So just had a takeaway at the cost of £48. We had to wait an hour for it. What a disappointment. Ribs had barely any meat on them and what was there was chewy.£12.50 for a quarter of cold duck,no spring onion, no cucumberFood was lukevwarm considering my husband had to sit at the restaurant and wait 10 minutes for itYoung chow fried rice was most definitely not fried.. Generally whole meal was really poor quality. Phoned up to be told if we can't take the whole meal back they can't do anything.about it It was 9.30 and just finished work, not prepared to wait another hour. Really poor quality . Really poor service.

We booked last night for the first time since before covid. The decor has improved and the staff are friendly and attentive. The only thing that’s a let down is the food. We ordered the dim sum starter and the ribs and chicken satay had literally no taste.We ordered the king red which stated it was served on a sizzling platter .. this was served on a plate and was so spicy it brought me to tears . The rice was good and we ordered crispy chilli beef which was ok. We ordered beef in black bean and it literally had no taste whatsoever.. really disappointing and we won’t be returning. It’s was overpriced £93!. It was awful.

Haven't been for quite a few years so was unsure what to expect. Saturday night booking and it was really busy which was great to see. We had 3 courses and drinks all within the hour, so no long wait for service. The team were extremely professional and the food was delicious. Will definitely visit again and recommend to anyone.

We visited this restaurant recently and cannot believe how bad the service is.The welcome is none existent and we waited a long time for service throughout the evening with constantly having to ask to place orders.The normal menus were only offered at first until we enquired about seeing the offer that is advertised on the website then the other menus appeared.Parts of our order were missed. We then had to wait again for the missing items.The Staff seemed more interested in smaller tables or the take out part of the restaurant.We spent a considerable amount of money that evening from the food to alcoholic drinks including cocktails so to our horror after dessert we asked for my daughter’s birthday cake to be brought out, which again we waited a long time!We were then told we could not have any plates or forks unless 10% was added to our bill. As you can imagine my 9 year old daughter just wanted to enjoy her birthday cake and we were all in total shock they were charging us for these items.In all my years of celebrating birthdays in many restaurants, I have never ever been charged for plates/forks! ( I think being charged nearly £30 or any charge for that matter for these items is disgusting)This really just put the nail in the coffin on the whole evening especially as it was a special occasion.This is unacceptable service and very disappointing especially as I live in the area.

Good staff are fantastic. service is always good food is red hot. We go as a family but have also been with 25 of us work do and have to say fantastic again everyone was so happy all the food was great thank you

Been many times to this popular restaurant and takeaway. Always good food. My takeaway was not quite as good as usual, but I expect it will be better next time. I wish they would get a bigger place so that it would be easier to get a table when we want. We would go more often if it was easier. I believe they are the best Chinese restaurant anywhere near us, I have checked the others.
