Apple Tree Tea Rooms in Warwick

Took my lovely client here for lunch. I presumed giving the location and the name “tearoom” in Warwick would mean a place to chill with a cup of fresh tea and coffee in a friendly atmosphere…unfortunately this was not the case. The older lady who served us should not work in customer service. She was almost reluctant to serve us as if we were a burden to be spending our time and money in here. Very rude, no atmosphere and outdated. I feel embarrassed that I took someone here on the hopes of a nice easy lunch, but it felt very awkward and hard work to even order food.Many times we tried to start conversation with her as it was awkward and she acted like she couldn’t care less and wanted us to leave.The food was mediocre that looked very half arsed and something I could of done very easily at home with a pre cooked pack of chicken. It is so simple to present a toasted sandwich in a nice way, but that was so off the mark sadly.Will not be coming again, such a shame it takes up a great space in the town that could have great potential if taken over. Hate to do this to a business but my client was really upset about it and has spoke about it ever since.

I recommend. The lady who took the order was very nice. Everything tasted very good. Delicious hot chocolate.

I don't ask you to love me always like this, but I ask you to remember. Somewhere inside me there'll always be the person I am to-night.

Lovely sandwiches, nice looking cakes but didn't try them. Quiet walled garden at the back. Great spot for lunch.

The staff were friendly, a bit awkward to start with which coulddd be interpreted as rude or begrudging but didn't bother us much. The food and drinks were lovely and so was the little garden at the back. Would definitely go back and reccomend a visit!

I was going here quite regularly before the lockdown with my mum. We have missed our Saturday visits. We really like the tea room and the people who own it have always been friendly and helpful. We always enjoy the food which is freshly prepared to order. I particularly like the toasted cheese and red onion sandwich. There is lots of choice on the menu for lunches or tea with delicious cakes. The tearoom is spotlessly clean inside and in the summer there is a lovely garden to sit in at the back. We look forward to visiting again soon now that mum is able to go out again.

Aweful experience. The old lady is not nice, she barely looks at you in the eyes and makes you feel unconfortable. My friend had to go to the toilet and she insisted he has to be a client when when we were 5 other persons ordering coffe and coockies. They want you to pay as if they dont trust you will. She brought us the wrong coockie and got upset about us noticing, she didn’t change it. The man has a really messy hair and also didn’t look at you in the eyes. Its a pitty since the pastry and hot choco is wonderfull.

The cream tea was delicious. Lovely warmed scones, fruit or plain with jam and clotted cream. Large teapot of tea and great cappuccinos. Friendly staff, great location.

Fried Breakfast was more of a plate of beans..terrible atmosphere...there wasn't any! Pounced on by elderly lady upon arrival to order food before we sat down...order and pay before you are seated (I had to ask for a table) is very old fashioned. I wouldn't say this place fits Warwick...such a shame due to lack of customer experience.

One of the best sandwiches I ever had, however, very expensive (5.95), 8.50 with a cup of tea...I would not say that the owner was rude, as many of you do, but he could have smile at least once. Definitely not a pleasant place to eat, very expensive, however, food was nice. Shame they don't treat the costumers properly, I won't come back.
