House in Warwick

Food is good But be prepared to be waiting for over 1 hour. And expect them to forget your order. We ordered for 7 people and only 5 meals came out. One of which was my 4 year olds meal and mine that took over 1 hour 30 mins because of numerous mistakes. After asking twice were the order was they also brought over wrong orders in between waiting. Whoever runs this place need to seriously communicate with there staff better or get in someone that can run the restaurant. All we saw was at least 3 families complaining about the service. And staff were looking like they hated there jobs. Maybe a new manager needed as even one of the girls that worked there admitted the service there is always bad. WONT be returning

Absolutely awful. The breakfast comes with scrambled egg, I could have a bacon roll, a sausage roll, but when I asked for just scrambled egg on toast I was told no. Aapparently it's not allowed. Okay I'll accept that. So I asked for toast for me and my daughter. Toast came out stone cold, with no butter or anything else. Had to physically go and ask them for butter and jam which the they took about 10 minutes to bring out, not that it mattered as my toast was already stone cold. I don't normally leave reviews but the service here is so appalling I just had to. Will definitely not eat here again when at Warrick castle.

The fish batter had a nice texture but the fillet inside was dry. Chips were lovely. The staff are forgetful, slow and look as though they hate their job.

What a dreadful place!! We wanted coffees and scone and waited a long time for things to arrive, and the coffee from my husbands cup had been spilt and the saucer was full. We had to use napkins to clean it up because the waiter wasn't bothered when we complained. Every drink arrived almost cold. A COMPLETE RIP OFF!!!Staff hadn't a clue...and we made allowances for it being Boxing Day!

The food comes a bit slow but it's worth the wait. It's a lovely and cozy place, perfect for families, couples or just people who need some rest from all the walking :)

Very disappointed.The menu was basic, my Husband and I both chose fish and chips.Despite there being only 4 other tables of people it still took over half an hour to arrive.When the food came it was served in a bowl ! With a chip shop style news paper.The chips were dry hollowed out spud things, the fish was bland and I had hardly any peas.Cost a fortune for something that was tasteless.I won't be visiting there again.

Critique's really should be left to people who work in the restaurant business... Being in service it's the only industry where you are judged from start to finish and where the customers get to go away and in the safety of their homes comment on something they don't really know about... like they are the experts. How would you like to be judged, everyday for absolutely everything you do??? Chill out people!Everything here was ok. Service was friendly and helpful. The staff were working hard. The food was good for the price.Note for the management... hire a cleaner for the areas which don't fall under the waitresses domain and an extra staff member just for the busy hours

We were the first people in the cafe and the service was very slow. After a long wait for our drinks once our food arrived it was cold and we had to collect our own knives and forks. After returning our food they said they made us a fresh one they returned the same one but microwaved. Not impressed, would not recommend!

What a disapointment. We were shown to a table , given a menu then left. We were on th epoint of leaving when noone had been back to take our order after 15 minutes. As we were about to get up someone did come over to ask if we had placed an order. There seemed to be a lot of confusion amongst staff. They didn't know who had ordered, or what they had ordered. When food cam out they didn't know where to take it to. When the food came it was dry and over cooked. While we were waiting some people came and sat next to us. When no one had been to take there order 20 minutes later they left! We would never eat here again. It was a total waste of money. We could easily have left without paying too. We had to go and find someone to pay, and she seemed surprised that we wanted to pay. Extremely badly organised, poor value. Leave well alone. There ar plenty of better places to eat.

First, the waiter couldn't find the breakfast menu. Then the glasses we were given weren't clean. Finally, my poached eggs were completely hard boiled... We were one of the first customers in the morning, so the restaurant wasn't even busy.
