Food ok takeaway better service slow if you eat in, sat a table for 30min another table got food served first although they came after us. But chips are good!

The chips are fantastic in fact all the food is hot, fresh and of good quality. Staff are also friendly. Highly recomended

This Chip Shop has been under new management for a few weeks, so I thought I'd give it a try. Due to its past poor food service and quality I was very dubious about it, BUT was very pleasantly surprised. Food was really nice my Cod was excellent with no skin on which I much prefer. And the rest of my order was correct and good and reasonably priced. The staff where very friendly. Definitely recommend giving them a go and will go there again. If it can rid itself of the past it might give School Lane a run for its money!!

Nice look, went in today and waited 25 minutes with no staff around before getting bored and leaving, food looked alright; shame I didn't get to try any.I would advise that if - as a shop - you lack the staff to work the counter, you shut until you can actually run the place.

The place is now reopened and called "Fish King". Had some fish and chips and chicken doner. Both were excellent and staff very friendly. Highly recommend.

Extra free food while waiting but the owner seemed distant and mildly off putting. Great food though

Firstly didn't get what I asked for and gave up trying, lamb kebab meat OK, chips were very fatty and needed a microscope to find my salad. Average food and underwhelming service. And my mate was unimpressed with the food and service he got too.

this is the one place outside of london i would happily go to every chance i get. if customer service isnt great...... jusr forget it. its all about the munch. and i think the food is great given i only have donner meat and chips

The idea was to ring my order in and save myself a wait in 'The Kenilworth Kebab House', I was told half an hour and it would be ready. Half an hour later I turn up to collect my order and am told 'we're really sorry but we've been really busy, but it will only be a few minutes' they hadn't even started my order of 2 naan chicken kebabs. They then started to make the naan's from scratch !Approx 20 minutes later they ask me what sauces I want on my kebabs, I tell them 'chili sauce on one and mayo on the other'. He puts chili on the first one and then picks up the mayo about to put it on with the chili until I stop him !! He wrapped it up then started the other one picking up the chili again !! I stopped him and pointed out he had already put chili on the first one, he swore blind to me he had put mayo on the first one and continued to put chili on the second one. I had to unwrap them both to show what he'd done. I was offered another one that would only take a few minutes but this was now 10.15 pm and I had phoned my order in at 9.15, I told them not to bother and just add some mayo to one of them, it was rubbish all I could taste was chili and there was hardly any meat on them both.The whole episode was a fiasco I will never go in there again.
