Fantastic meal....34 ounces of steak (£35) shared between two!

Good food, had the battered haloumi and chips, very nice. Couple of real ales on tap and some nice lagers.

Excellent lunch of obviously homemade beef stroganoff pie, laden with meat and extra gravy on the side. Spacious, bright and clean with friendly staff.

A little smaller than expected and being a party of 5 we ended up sitting by the kitchen and front door (nosiy and cold) but the atmosphere was good, the staff very friendly and the food delicious! Lovely large portions, hot food and very attentive service.

Such a good meal for 5 of us with very differing tastes! Vegetarian curry and salmon fish cakes superb!

Lovely tasty lunch on a quiet Monday lunchtime. The staff were helpful & professional at all times, dealt with a medical dietary requirement well. The young lady & gent who served our table were fabulous...

Nice little pub - pleasantly surprised by the rump steak we had! Staff were helpful and friendly. Could have done with the fire on and some repairs and improvements in the bathroom.

This is one of my go to places to eat locally all the food was excellent apart from my end cap rump I asked for it middle rare pink in the middle no blood it came to me almost blue you could have gave it mouth to mouth and it would have ran around the back garden doing laps and jumping with joy at a chance of a go of another life. The waitress did ask me if I wanted my piece of rubber cooked abit more but I was put off by my steak so much i just took it home for the dogs it was still bleeding blood 45 minutes later so was it rested I think not 🤔I just hope it was Sean night off because he is an excellent cook and a great host.

We had a lovely night out here for my dads birthday they aloud me to come early and decorate the table. And kept the cake safe in the kitchen.staff were so helpful food was great definitely going back.
