The Chip Shed in Warwick

I wasn’t planning on eating a late tea… but it was all opened up and accepting customers. The restaurant is nice with good seating. The staff were all pleasant and welcoming. The food was fantastic. Not just fish & chips, but a decent chunk of lemon full of juice and no pips & very nice curry sauce. They even make their own vinegar…I recommend this fish & chip restaurant.

Amazing fish and chips here, I had the haddock which was cooked perfectly and had the right amount of batter, which was also had the right amount of crunch.I ordered the regular chips and got enough to feed a family!And the gravy is incredible, lovely and thick!

Food was amazing. Chips were cooked to perfection and the chicken pie was full of flavour.Wife is gluten free and she had plenty of options to pick from as they use a separate fryer.

Still the best fish and chips in UK! Friendly staff!4 stars just because the mushy peas used to be homemade and buttery. Now is just standard ready to eat. Apart from that the fish was perfect and chips were crunchy.

Amazing fish and chips, the rest is so and so. Prices for takeaway are good, but they go way up if you eat in, so definitely worth a take out!

I ordered the beef burger and the taste is just ok, nothing special. As for the chips, it is very crispy and the portion size is quite big. My friends ordered the Scampi and the fish and chips. Both are better than the beef burger but still the taste is just ok. After a nice day out at Warwick Castle with the family we were looking for somewhere convenient for decent food. This was the perfect place! I had Burger and Chips, the burger was freshly cooked and honestly possibly the best burger I have ever eaten! So good. My other half had Fish & Chips and my son Sausage & Chips. All of us were very happy with our meals, would highly recommend!

Lovely staff and excellent quality of food. Had prawn cocktail to start and my Dad had the whitebait. No strong taste so it was definitely fresh. The curry sauce is exceptional and the staff are so friendly.I had some leftover chips under my table from the last customers but won't mark them down for that- some very messy people before us!

The best scampi and chips of my life. Very friendly, patient staff despite rude customers. I didn't have to wait long and everything was cooked to perfection. The curry sauce has a very unique flavour as well. I'd definitely recommend and come back to this place

Great fish and chips in a smart Chippy restaurant. The staff were terrific too and very friendly, as they should be of course, but I still want to give them credit. Two photos from the chip shop and some from Warwick.... well worth a visit and motor homes can park all day for £6 at the castle.
