The Gauntlet in Warwick

Been here a few times and the meals are always lovely and very reasonable to worth a visit if you have not been

So we stop in Kenilworth and went to the Gauntlet for an evening meal we arrived just before 5pm when they start food service. But the bar staff gave us a menus and put the order through for us. When got our drinks quickly after this and didn’t wait long for the food my wife ordered the lasagna and I tried the hickory bbq burger. Both were really good I would have said perfect but I had requested no salad or coleslaw and received coleslaw. While having it on the plate didn’t ruin the meal in the slightest it stopped this being the best. I highly recommend this place still staff are friendly and it has a local pub feel. I would suggest a new mop for cleaning as there is a strange smell otherwise nothing but praise for the place.

Absolutely amazing meal as always - the vegetable lasagne was delicious served with lovely fresh salad, burger was very juicy and the homemade coleslaw was a very tasty accompaniment, chips were the best we've had in ages. Great serviceHighly recommended

The 3 stars are for the food/Sunday lunch and the staff. The food was that nice it would of got 5 if not having to wait 1 half hours for it.

Had a nice meal and evening with family. We enjoyed the food although the one meal was not as good as on a previous visit. We'll be back!

Absolutely gorgeous Sunday lunch. Very large portions, cooked to perfection & friendly staff in this neat & clean pub. Facilities spotless. The 60s style exterior doesn't do it justice - a gem of an eatery & real ales to finish the meal with. Thank you to all the staff for looking after us.

Ordered 2 Sunday lunches today to be delivered. The food arrived on time and piping hot. The meal itself was absolutely delicious and the quality of the ingredients was top notch. The size of the meal was impressive and the left overs are waiting to be enjoyed tomorrow! Will definitely use again.

Great Covid measures in place, Service is excellent from the friendly staff. The beer and food were that good, we have booked a table for 6 next week too. Online ordering took a few minutes to work out and may put some smart phone phobia adults off going.
