The Heathcote Inn in Warwick

Recent refurb has given it a smart look. Good food at a decent price! Very attentive staff.

Met with friends for a long afternoon lunch to catch up. Great venue and when booked we explained we'd be there a while to chat. The table allocated was oval in its little area, perfect. How lovely that people listened- well done!

Lovely food, friendly helpful staff. Good selection of food and drinks. Nice clean, open environment. Good choice of menu items at reasonable prices. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommended.

Service good, friendly staff. Decor of venue nice and modern,food is regular pub menu but good portions. We unfortunately sat next to a rather noisy family half way through but this can't really be helped.

We went for dinner on a Sunday.The food was absolutely delicious! I had the chicken tikka shishlik. The staff were attentive and friendly.The atmosphere was lovely; when a large group of men started getting too loud, the manager asked them to be quiet.I highly recommend it.

Very tasty new menu after refurb. Enjoyed my belly pork starter and delicious pigs in blanket as my main with onions and peas. Had to dig the ice cubes out of my drink but otherwise good.

Thank you for a great meal last night which was booked for 6 people then a suprise visitor arrived who was immediately made welcome by the lovely staff. There were 4 vegans and although there are no vegan starters on the menu the chicken strips and shashlik were converted and enjoyed by all. The food and service for the evening was faultless and although it was very busy the staff were extremely attentive and catered for all our needs. Will definitely be returning.

Unfortunately we didn't have the best experience. The pub appears lovely with its renovation. The staff were friendly and attentive.I ordered the chicken and leek and mushroom meal which was served luke warm. My husband ordered a mixed grill which he asked for the steak to be medium and it arrived well done.We had ordered a side of House chips, these arrived at the end of the meal, and were fries!Our children ordered the make your own wrap, which was 1 small wrap cut in half, definitely not worth the price.The staff were very understanding and deducted the grill and chips of the menu.The pub has huge potential to be amazing and we have previously had 1 good meal here but we have also had disappointed meals too.As its our local its such a shame that it didn't meet our expectations.

We ordered pretty much as soon as we arrived, but after asking twice & by the time it arrived over an hour later, we were already past hungry. We don’t get out much and it kind of spoilt the evening.I would return because I know they can do better, but I think I’ll leave it a while.

The Heathcote has improved so much since the new management took over. We have had so many great nights there in the last few months, particularly NYE and our first meal there after the refurb. The food is as good as the best in Leamington, the staff are the friendliest and most efficient around, the new chef has revolutionized the menu with unique and delicious food and the drinks selection is excellent.
