The GoodNice place. Rooms are very nice. Clean, stylish. Bed comfortable. Room was dark and cool. Nice bathroom with good shower. Cool bar with really nice staff. Generally a great place and well worth a stay. The BadRoom above mine must have had a hard floor. Every step was a loud bang. I was therefore kept awake til late and woken up early by the person above me. That’s a major problem. Most rooms won’t have that problem I believe - I was unlucky. I was in room 8.Breakfast needs work. It was very basic and no offer of tea or juice unless you ask the reluctant attendant.I would recommend it for sure but they should work on breakfast and you should make sure you don’t sleep in room 8.

Quaint private hotel with modern features and a great outdoor cocktail seating area.

Loved this place ,room was tastefully decorated with a lovely walk in shower Luxury toiletries Elemis one of my favourites. We stayed in room 3 in the annexe it was so peaceful it had afan so the room was really so cool. The queen-size bed was the comfiest bed and the pillows too.Continental breakfast in morning was very nice. They young chap in mornings with eye glasses was so friendly and so cheery. We stayed 3 nites and price was reasonable. a beautiful garden with comfy garden furniture .The cocktail bar was nice the two barmen also cheery. We will return when we visit family in the area again.

Great new special menu at the Kenilworth. Best place in the Midlands for cocktails.

The luxury suite was not luxury. Tired furniture, dirty pillows, expensive and disappointing. Wasn't what I wanted for my wedding night.

A warm and friendly atmosphere. The food was wonderful and great value and the landlord and staff all gave an excellent and friendly service. Definitely go back if in the area again

We stayed here for the weekend to celebrate my partner's birthday and loved it here! The rooms are stunning, the cocktails are amazing and the staff are so friendly! Joe is brilliant and really took care of us.We were made to feel very welcome and look forward to visiting again soon.

Used to be a wonderful place but unfortunately lost it's shine. Stayed a few weeks ago, celebrating a belated wedding anniversary. Was put in a 1970's house to the rear of the hotel, which the staff referred to as the Annex, Room 7 Suite was nice but ideally wanted to be in the actual hotel. Also could have done with a dust and a replacement dressing table lamp as it was broken. Loud music from guests rooms above, which continued into the early hours. My Husband had enough by 3am and called reception. Music was turned off but loud chattering and foot steps continued. Way more than two guests in that room and definitely a party! Complained at check out but the chap on reception was not very interested. Complained by email and received a half hearted apology and a £50 refund. Was told the rooms above were block booked by guests celebrating a birthday and they hadn't been out in six months and must have took it to far and continued their celebrations in one of the rooms! Not really my problem, especially when paying £139 a night for what was supposed to be a romantic break and was also our first time out in a year! Real lack of interest from staff, email communication terrible. Need to think / plan better with regards to the locations of guests rooms, especially when block bookings / parties are involved.

Found this place to be very welcoming. It was quite busy in there but the lady who greeted us when we arrived when off and found us a table. The place has real character. Like a proper old school pub. The cocktails were something else! All 4 of us had different cocktail and we bought 2 rounds. We all tried each of them and sang their praises. Not the cheapest place but you get what you pay for. I see they also do cocktail mixing lessons. Worth looking into.
