Perfect location in the Royal Pump Rooms. Great selection of light bites and cakes.......and great coffee. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Highly recommended.

+ Bright space with big windows offering view on the green space outside. About 4 spots offering power plugs if you need to work a bit.- High ceilings make the space very noisy. Add in the old folks yapping at each other. The coffee was not great, I believe the roast to be very light.I would come here for the friendly staff and maybe an afternoon cake (many sweet and savory to choose from) but not a morning coffee.

Went in first time tea lovely in glass mug staff nice.Shame Lemon drizzle cake no lemon taste, icing hard and cut both ends off as hard! Made me wonder how long it had been there. Never complained but won’t return. Overpriced.

The Larder is an RLS institution, from its earlier days on Portland St it has kept reassuringly high standards, clean and creative food menus and superb coffee and staff. The location is nice and spacious with indoor and outdoor seating, next to the gallery and pump room gardens.

·

Outstanding service. I had a vanilla latte and a decent slice of delicious carrot cake. Nice atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Someone gave a * review, I find it hard to believe, They are always incredibly friendly and they bake wonderfully. The idea of putting a raspberry on a pastel de natas, sounds made, is genius

Pretty decent coffee and baked goods. I stopped off for a smooth tasting flat white and a Portuguese tart. Both were excellent! The cafe is in an attractive Georgian building and has been converted nicely.Good coffee and food, done well in a nice environment…sounds simple, but so many places get it badly wrong. So we’ll done to the Larder 👍🏽

Very noisy with the coffee grinding machine right next to the till. Old people shouting to each other because of the noise. It was not a place to go and relax. The latte was very small for the cost of ÂŁ3.10. I would expect a large for that price. The latte I had was served in a glass with no handle, and hot drink should at least have a handle. The cake I had was dry and fairly tasteless. So, if you want a nice relaxing coffee and cake. Don't come here.

Great speciality coffee at a decent price with a great selection of pastries + savoury items with always a few good vegan options.

This is a great wee cafe within the Gallery and Pump Rooms. It was really quite busy the day I visited but I still managed to get a table as they have seating outside. There is plenty choice for all tastes at lunchtime. I was glad I chose this cafe it was well organised and in a good setting.
