Fine for a quick stop off drink, but expensive for food, especially as what you get is sub par, under or over cooked, unripe avocado in the chicken club was the highlight of the meal. Lovely indoor decor if you can get a seat inside as full of empty reserved tables. Dog friendly.

Very friendly staff good selection of ales and lagers. food is good value for money. Beer garden is perfect for hot sunny days and lots of seating available.

Really good experience,great staff very attentive,welcoming and friendly service. Lovely spread ,food simple and great. Loved the sweet potatoes fries and the fish. The chocolate brownie BRILLIANT!! The pub itself really great interior,atmosphere and in lovely setting of Conventry countryside. Worth a drive out for lunch.

I visited The Oak on Mothers Day for a drink. It was fantastic to see it so busy and a great buzz. We could tell the staff were under pressure but dealt with it fantastically. I can’t wait to visit again! Thanks to the great team

First time in the Oak since the refurbishment for a birthday lunch for three. I had one of the best steaks I’ve ever had, cooked perfectly and very tender. The service was good.. a few minor issues and it’s not a ‘fast food’ restaurant but that adds to the charm. Great place and great people 👍🏻

Went for lunch here as a goodbye to my parents who were flying home to Spain. Plenty of space and sat in the snug area which was perfect for our two babies to play. We were on a tight time schedule so as not to miss check in at the airport. We ordered 4 mains (for the adults) and two desserts (for the babies) 2 of the mains were fish and chips which came with NO tartar sauce. The menu stated this was the sauce served with the fish. Another meal was a burger which we asked to come without some of the ingredients due to dietary requirements. The burger came with all the trimmings we didn't want!When we spoke to the server we were told there was NO tartar sauce on the premises and no salad cream so we had to make do with mayo. Obviously we picked the burger apart to remove what we had to. I was astonished by their offer to resolve the situation. We were given two options...... a free desert we had no time to eat due to the flight or a refund if we didn't eat the food. The food was tasty but the fish was very dry without the sauce. Why was it not mentioned at the point of ordering that a main ingredient was missing from two of the four meals we were ordering???????Also we would have been happy to order from the lunchtime menu and save ourselves £20 had we known about it but that specific menu wasn't on our table and we weren't told about it. The restaurant wasn't busy when we were there so no excuses just poor service and bad management.

Just visited the Oak (Saturday) after it had been closed for a revamp. Menu has alot to choose from, food was great. I had the mixed grill and couldn't finish it! Staff on shift were very attentive, food came out quickly. Good work Lorna, Karen and Sam

Popped in as was recommended bye a work friend. I was chatting to a member of staff who was polite and nice the oak has just had a spruce up lick of paint i was told. from what i saw very clean food was good and lovley staff. If i lived in the area this would be my local 100 percent

We popped in here for lunch after taking my dad to an outpatient appointment at Coventry Hospital.They had a nice for roaring but it was still a bit cold inside. The menu had a lot of items crossed out on it and the selection wasn't that great, but the food delivery was timely and it was well cooked.The tables were a bit cramped for my liking, especially when we had a large group sit right next to us (who I think were with the owner/manager).

We stopped here today while passing a For a bite to eat the staff where very friendly and the place was really clean and looked really nice inside there was great choice on the menu and the food turned up really quick not badly priced either I was pleasantly surprised
