Recently rebranded and full refurb to No 34.It’s next to no 32 😂However great job. Breakfast was good and the staff were super helpful.Waited with blue hair on point and Indian gent (Apols if not Indian!) was super polite and friendly.Great spot. Great balcony.Summers coming. Get there. They still kept the horse! Was going to give 4 ⭐️That’s unfair.Keep up the good work team 34.

Not very welcoming. Wanted evening meal but we were put off by noisy bar, lack of any attention, and bad atmosphere. Restaurant seemed non existent. Would not recommend.

Lovely service this evening from Jess. Took time to chat with us- very friendly. Pub is lovely too- can't wait to see what it will be like after the re-furb

Nice environment with helpful staff but dissapointed at the food. It was OK and reasonably priced but they were out of stock on some meals on their limited menu and also some beers when we visited on Saturday afternoon.

My husband and I met up with my new found relatives. This was the 2nd time we have been in this restaurant. I had a Sunday beef dinner yesterday, it was really tasty especially the gravy. The vegetables were cooked to perfection and the yorkshire pudding was light and fluffy. The beef was tasty and of high quality. My husband had the steak and ale pie which he said was the best he has ever had. Staff couldn't do enough for us they all were very polite and cheery lot. We live 2 hours away and i have to say it was well worth the journey. Service and food A* look forward to our next trip in the New Year. Thank you for making our day yesterday so special.

Accommodated so many of us today, including 2 x 18 month old children. Were amazingly patient and polite and helpful. Food was delicious, maybe some portions a little large, but thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you

The food was nice, the restaurant was nice and the staff were cheerful and helpful. It was nowhere near packed.Sadly the service was really quite slow, even for a relaxed Sunday afternoon. And there were only a couple of choices for dessert as they had run out of three of the desserts on their short list.

Very stylish place! We were drawn to dine here after seeing their new menu on Facebook! It didn't disappoint, the chap who served us was very welcoming, friendly and professional! ... the food was amazing, I had the 3 small dishes for £15 and it was divine! (Garlic King prawns, salt and pepper calamari and cheesy potatoes! A full on step right up from cheesy chips! ) I couldn't eat all the potatoes so was allowed a doggy bag to take home!.... for the 1st time in a long time I felt completely and utterly happy in a local eatery! And there are still at least another 4 dishes on the menu that are a MUST! Oh, and the Merlot was very good! 🍷 👍 Can't wait to return! ..... #happyface

We decided to go for a Sunday lunch at The Racehorse. The meals were very good, the veg was cooked perfectly and the cauliflower cheese was very nice.I had the Roast pork belly which was cooked nicely apart from th pork skin which was soft instead of a crisp crackling. My Mother asked for horseradish to go with her Roast beef which they never had, but they did have apple sauce to go with my Pork.Overall it was a good meal in a friendly environment
