Sunday lunch after a walk from Leamington. The manager was top notch, perfect balance of hospitality, politeness and friendliness. Filled me with confidence (as did his young team) when ordering and delivering food for my allergy.Oh and the food was excellent quality👍🏻.Rounded off what was a perfect day for us ☀️😎Thank you

Just turned up on spec one evening while staying in the area. It was quiet but soon filled up. The service was great, the food was great, the price was not cheap but not excessive given the quality of product. All in all about as good as it gets!

Went here for a birthday roast dinner with my wife and family. We all loved it. The food was so good, in a really nice setting. For me personally, it was the best Sunday roast we'd had in the Leamington/Warwick area - for me, better than the Saxon Mill and many others. We did have to wait quite a while for food. Might be nice to give us a little warning. But we left very happy after tasting.

So much nicer now that they've redone their garden area- plenty of places to sit outside in the sunshine. The staff are always really friendly and helpful, and the food and drinks are great. Only docked a star because its rather expensive for what you get, compared to other pubs in the area.

A fantastic Sunday lunch for a large group of us. It's a little pricey but totally worth it as the food was excellent, a large portion and can't fault the service. I'd love to visit again when in the area.

Only had a sausage cob but it was delicious. Menu looked very good. Good selection of beers, very nice place for a quick bite, or a more complete meal

Another good old fashion pub serving good local ales and food. We were a party of 10 all the food was served together and hot. I had the pork delicious. For pudding I had the crumble lovely ( but to much fruit not enough crumble ha ha ha 😉. Would recommend.

I wasn't previously a big fan of The Stag, as I felt it relied too much on it's wonderful garden and charming thatched cottage architecture and not enough on the food. However, following my visit a few weeks ago, I have revised my opinion. There's a good variety of food, including ample vegan and gluten free options and excellent desserts. Serice was friendly, helpful and prompt. It was a cold but bright January afternoon, and my daughter and I (and her 8 week old son) had the garden to ourselves. The woman who looked after us made us feel very welcome. I think we paid about £60 for 2 x mains, 2 x desserts and various drinks. Not chep, but very good value.

Not the first time we’ve eaten here and it won’t be the last. The festive menu had a really nice piece of hake with crushed potatoes also a divine belly pork with a jus I could’ve drunk by the bucket full. If I could find any fault I think the portion sizes are very slightly in the small size. Service was good and swift as usual.

Beautiful country gastropub. Delicious food, with the best camembert I've ever eaten. Large range of drinks available. Staff all friendly and welcoming.
