We enjoy our visits to this pub but today shocked on entrance to the amount of empty glasses, bottles and crockery on lots of tables. After finding a seat with the LEAST amount of glasses I cleared away noticed that none of the other glasses etc were cleared for over an hour a member of staff wiped down a sanitisation unit and also a door handle walking passed all said glasses etc staff seemed miserable and ignorant when speaking and ordering drinks.staff need training on collecting in crockery, glasses etc as health and safety values were not being met. Unfortunately I did not take photosVery disappointing

Always a great stop for us riding over to Warwick. Great food and coffee with free refills. Always clean and tidy tables when I've visited. Clean female toilets. Friendly staff. An enjoyable visit

This used to be a really good place to eat with excellent service.Sadly it has declined massively, so much so that I won't be going back and don't recommend it to anyone.Ordered the BBQ chicken burger and Caledonian burger with haggis. They forgot half the order for the bbq burger, namely the BBQ sauce (?!) and onion rings. What did arrive was lukewarm. The chicken was the hardest chicken I have ever eaten, had to leave half of it as it was inedible. Literally was like a piece of wood and that is no understatement.Waited for 10 minutes at the bar to be completely ignored by the incredibly miserable bar staff to try and order some tap water. They seem to have got rid of the water dispenser, which if it is for covid safety reasons is ironic as there is no covid safety screens anywhere, nobody was wearing masks, not even the staff and the tables may as well be joined up as they are that close together. When the food arrived, I asked for 2 waters, to which the waiter gave me a look of death and never returned with any waters but instead went behind the bar to serve other people.Because of this, I had to find another lady who was waiting tables to ask for water and the rest of the order. (She was actually very helpful and I feel sorry for her having to work with such useless miserable other staff). The Caledonian burger was full of gristle, very thin, the haggis was bland and the whiskey sauce tasted like it had been watered down.To complete the disaster, the chips tasted very old and were mushy. We ended up leaving 60 percent of the food as it was so bad. This is something I have never done before ever, so gives you an idea of how terrible the food was.If you want to get drunk and rowdy, this is the place for you as they will happily take the money off you.If you want it to be perhaps a family oriented place to eat do NOT go here.In summary, the service is terrible, the food is terrible, the atmosphere is terrible. I cannot think of any positive reason to go here, other than cheap alcohol which you can get from the supermarket.

My friend and I are regulars at Warwick weatherspoons and last Monday evening our meals arrived with my friends meal being fine but I had the fish and chips which I had to send iback as the fish and batter were so soggy it was not edible. It took 40 minutes to replace. So disappointed as it is the first time I’ve had to complain. It was not as busy as when we have visited before. Usually weekly

Avoid and find a better place, the people who go in are rude. If you just want a place to get drunk then this is the place otherwise find somewhere better, the staff unhelpful and if you have an allergy they don't bother asking you are directed to a board but it doesn't tell you what is cooked with what so meaningless. If you want good food, helpful staff and better surrounding go next door to the tilted wig far better, you can evan take you dog there.

Drinks as always were good value, but found The Thomas Lloyd in need of some money spending on its decor and tables and chairs. Due to what seems like a lack of staff, tables were left for long periods with plates piled high. Supposed clean tables were tacky from glass marks. I think Warwick deserves better.

Called here three times while staying in Warwick. First time was on a Wednesday evening, didn't seem very busy, sat outside. Plenty of empty tables, but most of them had empty glasses and dinner plates on them. Bar staff were coming out with trays of drinks and food but didn't clear tables as they were going back in. Called again on Thursday evening for food and Friday morning for breakfast, this time everything was good, tables cleared regularly of glasses and plates. Perhaps they were short staffed on my first visit.

Good customer service, seating outside and table service apart from coffee it's help yrself there, table seating was in social distance guidelines, side for smokers, non smokers and part for assisted dog owners which I thought was a great idea well done. Had breakfast will say beans, bacon, mushrooms on the cold side, maybe check before serving but apart from that outdoor breakfast with the sunshine on the beans that warmed them up 🌞😎👍 can't beat the fresh air on a lazy morning..
