Service in here is second to non. Very attentive, can't do enough for you. Mixed grill was lovely. Huge portion. Had to wait a while as their delivery was delayed but other than that, can't fault the place. Décor, atmosphere, everything about the place is great. Very family friendly and a wonderful beer garden to the side and rear. Highly recommend

Great carvery . Choice of meats ,plenty of veg. Staff friendly . Went in for late lunch and everything still fresh. Lots of tables reserved but plenty left for walk ins

Had a lovely experience here for our wedding breakfast. They have a room at the back that can hired for special occasions, which had been dressed beautifully for the occasion. We enjoyed 3 courses, a starter, carvery for main and dessert. All the food was delicious. The staff were brilliant and really attentive, checking in with us to see if we needed anything. All in all a lovely experience here.

Great place, menu is amazing .. staff are friendly and helpful will definitely be going back! The Yorkshire pudding eclaire is amazing as you can see in the picture!

Attended yesterday and can honestly say majority of our food was awful, my child’s dinner consisted of 5 carrot sticks & no cucumber, the chicken was dry and tasteless and the only tasty bit was the 1 slice of Garlic bread. My partner had Hunters chicken and it’s the 1st time we have seen ‘fried breaded’ chicken for this type of meal, the chips were cold and she’d ordered the ‘ultimate’ but the portion size was anything but! The chips on my plate were also cold, only upside is the steak was brilliant. My rating does not reflect to the bar staff as they were very polite. I haven’t visited this venue for a while and i’m very disappointed.

You order pitcher of Woo Woo and you get half 🤣Dont know if I should laugh or cry...I dont even know what to say.....Oh and I need to mention you pay a £1 for a naan bread and you get half 🤣AND PURPLE RAIN YOU ORDER A PITCHER AND COMES IN HALF AS WELL, STARTING TO FEELING HALF THE VIBE HERE LOLEverything should be half price lol

We went for my mother's 75 birthday. There were 15 of us and the table we booked was late. The manageress couldn't apologise enough which was great. The orders were taken at the table so no need to queue to order food. The food was really tasty all of our food came at almost the same time so no waiting to start our meal. When it was time to order desserts the kitchen had closed but because our table was late the manageress keep it open so we could have dessert. Excellent customer service we will be going again. Well done.

A good pub for what it is. Seems to lack bar staff and table service. Food is moderate to good.Wish it were cleaner. Just seemed like an organized mess. Good points drinks were decent. Price is decent. Take out is an option. Food came swiftly.Would have been a four if bar staff were a little more serious about their role instead of chatting amongst themselves.

Chef had what looked like a 2 day menu down his tunic, not bad for 12.30 midday! Meat was good. Mash was more like instant than something that started the day as a whole spud. Carrots broccoli and sprouts were under cooked, as were the peas. But they were special order, as apparently carveries don't have peas. I'm sure this is a reflection on the chefs inexperience. Gravy was thin and yorkies were cooked to a point they had consistency of a delicate wafer . The waitress managed to look surprised as we mentioned the issues. So at least 1 member of staff was professional. Photo is of the inedible leftovers .

Only downside was the toilet facilities weren't great, broken seats, locks and taps. Food was great! And staff very friendly. Will be returning. Must try a carvery!
