Purple Flamez in Wolverhampton

Called in for an impromptu meal and I must say the food is fantastic. We were first in on a quiet weekday and the service, food and atmosphere were great. Taking advantage of their banqueting nights for £12.95, with poppadoms, starters, main and a dessert or coffee, they really didn't disappoint! The food was good and fresh, poppadoms were warm, starters were tasty with fresh salad and the mains were gorgeous too. Service was pleasant, and it was all brought out promptly, but not rushed. If you fancy a good curry, give this place a try because you won't be disappointed!

Unfortunately my love for good authentic Indian food was not fulfilled here. Everything lacked seasoning, taste and flavour and was one of the blandest Indian meals I’ve ever had. Portion size was good and popadoms fresh but I’m really struggling to find a good authentic (not westernised) Indian takeaway in the midlands! My quest continues.

I've ordered for the first time tonight going on the reviews which was good. My orde came on time but the curry was a let down because its was very hot for a madras, more like a vindoloo and it was all sauce then anything else. The keema nan didn't have a lot of meat in either. Won't be ordering again.

Really Nice ! A lovely place to come, the staff are so helpful and polite.It is nice and clean! The toilets are clean too! We went out for a lovely staff meal on Saturday. We normally get takeaways from here, which are always Brilliant!! But having the food freshly cooked and to have a sit down meal was a real treat. I would Definitely Highly recommend and I look forward to coming again. Thank you. Smiles All Round. and 5 Stars ! ;-)

A great experience. Staff are so friendly and attentive. Food was hot and full of flavour. Such a nice place to eat calm atmosphere, a big thumbs up from me and my family.

Looking at the brilliant reviews, I was really excited to try this place for the first time! I ordered through Deliveroo yesterday and was really happy that everything came piping fresh... We ordered three prawn dishes: tandoori king prawn, garlic king prawn and prawn butterfly... The tandoori king prawn was genuinely awesome! Really, really good 👌🏾🤤 good portions, so tender and juicy, would definitely order those again! The other two dishes weren't that great if I'm honest - the garlic prawns were so small, kinda mushy and really disappointing. The prawn butterfly was quite foody, and not much prawn within... Again, disappointing. Overall, I'm sure there are some great other dishes here but aside form the tandoori prawn, I don't think I'd go out of my way to come back here sadly.

Absolutely fantastic food. Have been coming here weekly never had a meal that wasn't well cooked and full of flavours. Service is superb staff very friendly. The £9.95 deal on Wednesday and Sunday is fantastic value for money. Would highly recommend this restaurant to family and friends.
