The Angel Inn Bar & Grill in Wolverhampton

Enjoyed my time here, reasonably priced drinks and the food we had was really nice. The chicken claypot was very tasty with the right amount of spice. Would definitely recommend this pub. Will return to try the mix grill.

A-mazing food! Had the loveliest time there the other day with my friends, the curry we had was of an incredible standard and at a budget friendly price. Definitely worth a revisit, friendly attentive staff and a lovely environment to be in. 10/10.

The mixed grill was very nice. Battered prawns were delicious, shame you only get 2. Lamb chops could be better.Cobra went well with the food.

Ordered and collected a family mixed grill yesterday, after enjoying the last time we had it. Wish I hadn't! Fact that the food was packed so only way to check it all would've been to open it all up and check the pieces of meat, before bringing it home. Obviously not practical.Anyway brought the food home, sat down to eat with the wife and child, pulled out a lamb chop and it was worse than rubber. Rubber in fact would have been more edible! Thought it was just a one-off but all 3 pieces were the same. Yes I should've called up the restaurant to complain but after a long busy day, we just decided to make do with the rest of the meat and call it a night. I say that but in reality 3/4 of the food ended up in the bin.They probably used old meat or left overs from other diners to make our food. All 3 of us have spent most of the day running to the toilet! Finally made it here, the food is absolutely fantastic. So fresh and cooked to perfection. We had a mixed grill, fish curry and lamb in clay oven. Everything was cooked just right. Good value compared to other Indian food. I am definitely going here again!

Great value for money and the food is delicious. been there a couple of times now and it has been always excellent. Huge portions. Highly recommended.
