Food was delicious and hot. Service was fantastic. Lovely friendly staff. The lady that took our order even sang happy birthday to my daughter and gave her a cake. Can't fault anything of our experience. Will definitely return in future. 😁

Booked our meal for four people - was steak and wine night. We were recognised s have been before and glasses and wine were there waiting for us. Staff member who served us was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. The meals were superb and cooked the steaks as requested. We decided to have desserts - no one wad disappointed. Thank you again for a fab night

Ok. Wouldn't rush back. Steak was cold. Chips and peas were hot.Service was decent. They have a small play area for the kids which kept them entertained for the time that we were there.Outdoor garden area looked nice. Can imagine it would be great in the summer months.

The staff on duty were extremely welcoming and the two members of staff who particularly served us at approx 12.45pm were very knowledgeable and polite. The service was reasonable for the time we visited and the number of people who were dining at the time and the food was delicious. We visited again the week after with our child and enjoyed it just as much. Extremely pleased with our visit

Nice place. Unique and interesting internal lay out.Ales served hear but best to look for yourself as there are ales in the fridge and when I asked I was only told of ales on tap.Maybe down to not knowing they were ales, but it's all good.Serves food hear and has a open feel but still a separate area for eating and bar area.Which is good as the young crowd can get a bit rowdy and boisterous hear.Has a fire hear and was very warm.Recommend you try this place ill be going again as I want to try the food hear.

Brilliant place and now my daughter's favourite without a doubt. The food was good for a chain pub. My steak was actually rare when I asked for it to be which was nice. The Mrs loved the cauliflower cheese too. Our daughter loved the kids area, which is where we sat, and it was nice to be able to watch her have a bit of fun before sitting down foe dinner.Excellent service too.

Thought I would briefly write a review to help parents of young children. We had not visited since the refurbishment, but unfortunately it's still the same. Yes, it's a kind environment for children because they have space to move around which gives us parents 2 minutes peace!! But ultimately this comes at a sacrifice, the food. Ordered 3 children's meals just bog standard nuggets, waffles etc. They were all soaked in oil obviously deep fried, I complained to what appeased to be the manager but she just said she'd ask the chef to not fry them as long next time! Doesn't really help me though!! Didn't wants to spoil my kids experience of couple hours out with mom so just concluded we will never visit again. ( also exposed ends of screws in ladies toilet cubicle 2 year's later... Unbelievable) Why can't these family style restaurants look after our children's arteries?! and cook in the oven? Wouldn't feed this to a dog 🐶Update.Visited today, after what must be 3 years plus . Staff are more professional, and seem to genuinely care about providing a good service. Not 2 for 1 any more but makes no difference to how much you spend anyway ! We had a pleasant evening with our 3 kids ( all had adult meals) spent nearly £100 but we enjoyed it. Definitely better than last time.

Been many years since I visited this pub. The place has been extended but still retains its own character. Pleasantly surprised. Good 'wet' service and an excellent pint of Guinness! I speak from being 'born n' bred' within the licensed trade. Keep it up!! 😉

My wife and I popped in for a meal on Sunday evening not in the best of moods having left another prebooked table which was not satisfactory. We were greeted with the most lovely young lady who made us feel so welcome, unfortunately we didn't get her name, we explained that it was our Anniversary and she went out of her way to make our evening very special. She even made us a personal 💕 message card. The other server Lynne was also incredibly pleasant and helpful. I can't speak highly enough of them. The food was very nice and very well priced. Top marks from me and thanks again ladies. A very happy couple apart from being stuffed with lovely food.
