The Mermaid in Wolverhampton

Nice, more than nice place. Spacious parking, good choice of food. The building by itself looks so cool. The only small thing is that the kitchen needs to check for better salad leaves. Everything else was tasty

A quaint country pub on the edge of Wolverhampton. The food was great all round. The pub was clean and tidy. Service was friendly but a little slow in parts which is something they could improve on in the future. Otherwise would recommend and revisit again

A great pub, tastefully furnished with nicely spaced tables, the service was great, we were greeted with a smile and the staff actually seemed to be enjoying their jobs.There were 4 of us dining, we all chose different meals which arrived in good time, all were nicely presented, served piping hot and all were good quality tasty dishes.For dessert we had the black forest chocolate flower pot, a little work of art that tasted as good as it looked.All in all a great night out, we will definitely be returning soon.

Haven’t been in this pub for many years and found its been tastefully renovated - smart but not too plasticky. Lovely friendly, helpful waitress too.As well as good cask beer (Landlord) we had excellent meals. I am delighted to report that my wife & I both commented that this was literally the best pub food we’d had in years. Please note: it’s one thing to have one of the two meals to be outstanding - but both meals, different dishes, were outstanding. Superb.

Was supposed to write this a while back but looking for new places to go to eat is always a nice idea.Came across this place for some grub and a drink and was pleased with my visit. The team was welcoming and efficient. I remember Salv serving us on our visit and he was quick and made sure our service was at its best.Would definitely visit again when passing by!

Table for 4 yesterday at 3.45pm.90% full and good atmosphere.However, some lunches of ours barely warm (re-heated on request)Food items missing off 3 plates.Having to ask how long our puddings were going to be.BTo be honest the food was good but little things eh !!Probably will not return.

We were riding by and decided to stop for food!It's a beautiful pub! I haven't been in the Mermaid for a while and decided to pop in for a drink and some food yesterday afternoon/ evening. It's a beautiful pub, and the food was amazing (I had the meat feast pizza, and it is the best pizza I've had in a very long while.). What made the experience even better for me though was the service received from the staff. They are friendly and look like they really enjoy working there, which makes a difference. Sorry I didn't get the flaming sambuca's in as promised, maybe next time as I'll definitely be visiting again. Thank you again for the wonderful experience.

I've been going to this place since the 80s! It's been up and down over the years but it's definitely on an up! Lovely inside... comfortable... Nice staff who respect social distancing. Menu looked good. I went for a breakfast and had eggs benedict. Gluten free version on gf bread instead of muffin. Would have rated 5 stars if they offered gf muffin! Have booked a lunch with friends for a Christmas meet. Looking forward to it!

First visit to the Mermaid Inn last night and we were very impressed. Great service, all the staff are very friendly and efficient. All the dishes we had were lovely. Tasty, well presented and generous portions. Would certainly recommend and visit again.
