What I'd call a proper pub, food is served but not to the detriment of the pub atmosphere, proper folk and a great feel about the place, don't ever ever change this place

Hot tasty lovely food at the pilot pub. Food was running late due to one chef in kitchen but worth the wait and a huge thank you to the staff for free drink and pudding xxx

This is more a local pub than a restaurant but not in a bad way, it is very relaxed, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the locals were welcoming. The food was very hot and delicious, would use again if in the area

1st October 2021-Pendeford village:A local had recommended this pub so decided to go and have a look, looked okay from the outside so I popped in for something to eat at lunchtimeWhat a welcoming atmosphere, staff were very friendly. It was nicely decorated on the inside, very fresh and clean and there was a good selection of drinks..my Doombar was on the tap so a pint or two of this was beckoning. I looked at the menu and ordered their Classic Double Beef Burger with chips and it soon arrived at my outdoors covered seating area, wow...what quick service!I was pleasantly surprised with my burger, the lettuce and tomato were very fresh and I liked the thinly sliced raw onions with it too....my beef patties were perfectly cooked and the brioche burger bun was great, loved my Classic Double Beef burger and absolutely delicious!!My Doombar was perfectly chilled and well kept and I enjoyed my second pint watching the warm 1st of October autumn sunny sky very much indeed...A big thank you to Clare and Briany(?) for a great welcoming lunchtime experience!Definitely will be recommending you to all the boaters moored up at Autherley Junction..Oxley Moor road moorings !!Only a 25 minute walk or so from Oxley Moor road and the canal....

Friendly staff, easy to find location, quiet and spacious inside.Decent car park, maybe a little tight if it gets full?Food was spot on. Tasty and filling.Drinks were nice too. Probably the best Pepsi Max I've had.Would happily visit again.

Sylvia served us. She was very pleasant and cheerful. Excellent service, We all had different dishes off the menu, and enjoyed our meal. Not too busy and good atmosphere. Has a large outside seating area but the weather wasn't that fantastic.

Local estate style pub / restaurant and a favourite with families during the day, with a sports bar vibe of an evening and during sporting events. The food is decent pub grub, drinks menu is quite standard - if you want ale, you're often limited to Doom Bar.There's a popular, large beer garden to the rear of the pub. Small seating area to the front also.
