The Rookery in Wolverhampton

Great local chip shop, the owner is very friendly. Food is fantastic.Always have a kabab with mint amd mayo lush. Staff are friendly. Highly recommend 😊

Always very friendly service, well priced and quick service. Love that they also accept card as I rarely carry cash now.

Had a pie special, pie crust was hard, only a handful of chips which 8 of them were bad and as for gravy there was only a table spoon. Just not nice at all.

Food was not good at all and it could do with a good food. I didn't have anything but my dad did. Wont be using again

This used to be an amazing chip shop. Its gone downhill now they have changed their Chinese curry sauce to standard chip shop sauce. Food seems to have been sat under heat lamps for hours and food is not hot enough. Disappointed as I had enjoyed previously and now all the changes to menu and how food is made wont be a returning customer! CHANGE THE CURRY SAUCE BACK TO CHINESE CURRY SAUCE!!

Was the only chip shop I would order from but having ordered this evening, the order being incorrect and the un pleasant finding of the curry sauce being changed has also changed my mind in ordering from here.

The battered chips are to die for. Best I've tasted in Wolverhampton. They do lots of really GOOD & CHEAP meal Deals. Have to say we've never had a bad meal from here, we have two local chip shops by us and we drive past them to get here.

After a few negative experiences with other local chip shops we have taken to ordering from The Rookery.Best decision we have made! The food always arrives quickly and is hot, and tasty! I’ve yet to experience an issue; other than once a pie was forgotten in my order. I rang them and it was delivered quickly and both the staff on the phone and the delivery driver were incredibly apologetic! Thanks for the awesome meals!

The rookery is a lovely place. The food us always nice and the staff are really pleasant. I go there when I finish work and if they haven't got what I want they will cook it fresh fo me. I recommend this place to anyone who wants good food.

My partner went to get food, as I was craving mushypeas all day. In the pot it was only some green liquid, with some suspicious bits. My partner DROVE BACK, got on other one what was same green liquid with a bit more bits in it, taste sour water. Our food got cold too. Really poor service. Will avoid to go back ever!
