The Rose and Crown in Wolverhampton

We regularly eat here and I love it. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere pleasant. The food is lovely. Not overly impressed with the staff but the general experience is always good and so we will continue to use as a regular. The menu is very good with lots of variety.

Family visit for Mothering Sunday. First time we have all been together socially for over 2 years and what a joy. Staff pleasant and helpful and varied menu. Food cooked to perfection. Thank you for a memorable day.

Trational pub atmosphere, relaxed and friendly staff and customers . I havnt eaten here only popped in for a drink but food looked good , I will definitely be going back and have a meal next time.

Welcome us and our Grandkids today. We all had friendly service and the food was great. Excellent value! Love the variation on extras when you have a meal whether it be a kids meal or adults. 1 likes chips. 1 likes mash. We all like different sides..so it was PERFECT.

Our first visit will be our last. Waited 50 minutes for our meal. Had to ask for the cutlery as did a table near us had to ask. A number of food and drink items were out of stock. Service was very slow. Was quite disappointed and shan't be returning. Food was good though when it finally arrived

A table was booked so when my party of 5 arrived we were given what looked like a children's table. Splashes of colour that was un even. And wobbly when seated a round.I asked if we could be moved and unfortunate there was no tables available due to quiz night. (Which we weren't made aware at the time of booking). We were sat in the middle of all those playing quiz night.Food got ordered at table due to it been a little busy.. when a meal I ordered arrive it was not presented in the way I expectedI ordered buttermilk chicken salad and chips.What was served was limp lettuce diced tomatoe . The chicken was pre warmed up an a teaspoon of tomatoe and cheese enough to cover the chicken was placed on top. Chips were also limp and as thou they were warmed up. My colleagues meals were well presented and they enjoyed there's. Just mine.. when mentioning to the staff when they come to check on us I was given the answer wecgaveca trainee chef..Not the answer u want to hear .. they dud offer to replace the meal but my colleagues had alreafy eaten there's.Staff were attentive afterwards. It's not the fault of the staff that the meal was not edible. Hence why a 3 star... all food must be well presented and prepared with 100% care to the customer....

Very polite and welcoming staff, ales served were very nice. Order of fish and chips, with mushy peas must say excellent, large portions, fish cooked perfectly, price would beat the locals shops and my thanx 2 the chef. Def. go back

Visited the rose and crown yesterday and the service and food was amazing. I was served by the manager and nothing was too much trouble. Simon even went out of his way to entertain my daughter when she getting restless. The food was piping hot and well presented. Will definitely be back when I’m back in Wolverhampton

Been several times. Food is always good and served pretty quickly. Nice, friendly staff. The only problem we have is when we coming with children and ordering of child's menu, their food is always, literally every single time, brought last. We could be half way through our food or dessert when thiers is brought over. Shouldn't that be the other way round? Kids eat first?

Staff were superb.. the food however is absolutely dire.. I would genuinely be embarrassed to plate this Happy meal up for friends that came to my house and were not paying let alone have the nerve to charge for it.. I give you "classic" scampi and chips with no lemon and no tartar sauce... ddddur errrrrr I'm loving it.. my kids happy meal .. make your own decisions .. feel sorry for the staff having to serve this
