This was our first visit. Food was plentiful, very tasty and quick to arrive. There was lots of choice on the menu and reasonably priced for the quality. Had to order at the bar which we don't mind but might put others off. A lovely evening with friendly and efficient service.

A really good eating experience. Had the Sunday roast, parts of the lamb was a little tough, but the veg, potatoes and gravy were top draw and the dessert was amazing. The rest of the menu looks fantastic too, so will come back to try more dishes. Considering how busy it was, the food came out in decent time.

Great pub, excellent food and good sized portions. Menu had an excellent choice as well as some decent local specialist dishes ( Black country dinner). Service was excellent and with a smile. We had the Sunday lunch. Delicious. We will visit again.

This is one place that always amazes me. I have had a range of dishes, from a roast to a Japanese noodle dish and it has been 5* every time, highly recommended, whether vegan, veggie or a meat eater.

Pleasant venue and atmosphere. Ordered house special fish and chips. Unfortunately was disappointed as it was by no means a house special. We expected freshly cut chips not frozen chips that I could buy and bake/fry myself. It was a nice average pub meal, nothing special. It did not warrant the extra house special price.

This is a place we usually come for special occasions. I do like the feel, of this place. It has a really country pub feel to it. I always have the lamb shank. I promise you, you won't find a better lamb shank. The steaks however, are very hit and miss. Mainly for us a miss, there always tough or chewey. Other wise I'd of rated this place a 5 star. I recommend the chocolate fudge cake, really nice warmed.

Beautiful Sunday roast of turkey, arrived within minutes very fast service. Pudding of Chocolate Fudge cake with cream was really tasty. First time visiting here and will definitely be back again. Lovely pub and busy.

Beautiful 3 course meal with friends at The Springhill last night... halloumi fries starter then the peri-peri hanging chicken kebab which was very tasty and well presented. Love that it comes with both fries, bread and salad and the perfect portion of everything, not too big just right. To finish I had the chocolate fudge cake which was warmed perfectly and served with their fabulous mr whippy style ice cream. I will definitely come back soon 😍
