The York Restaurant in Wolverhampton

Lovely hotel. Staff were friendly. Comfy bedroom. Breakfast was lovely too. Would highly recommend to anyone coming to stay in the area

Okay... this would be an old, noisy bed and breakfast in Europe. In the UK they say it's a 4 star hotel... It's not. But... it's quite clean and the people are friendly. Full English breakfast was fine. As was the price.

Why put religious frames in a room, when you know people have deferring religions. Double room I stayed in needs a serious upgrade as it was old fashioned. Cant book here next time.

Really disappointed and will never be coming back again. On entrance the hotel smelt very dirty. so outdated. My room was so cold the heating did not work. there was no milk in my room, there were only 2 pillows on the bed. the shower gel and hand gel were almost finished. the towels were rock hard.. there were no bathroom cups for your toothbrush and tooth paste. the mugs and glasses were put directly onto the dressing table which is a health issue for me.overall would not recommend this hotel to anyone

We hired the function room at the York for our son's christening party. It's a great room, lots of space. Food was excellent, everyone complimented the food and all well fed. Would highly recommend.

I mean it all comes down to taste and duration. Firstly, only staying one night - check in, go out, return, sleep, breakfast, home. IdealRoom is a beige-em-up colourwise, bathroom has a step which I'm excited to not want to trip over. Some of the furnishings are a little dated or dirty, and furniture falling apart. Beds are okay though

A very good location for a stay in Wolverhampton centre or surrounding area. Clean and well appointed rooms with all the services that are expected. Food is of a high quality as you would expect from a hotel of this standard. Highly recommended.

Complete dump filthy and full of Eastern European farm workers in vans and idiotic staff with no idea of running a hotel they must be on £1.00 per hour I would not pay them any more the bar staff were useless no idea on drinks using bottles of pop for mixers beer was piss poor the bedroom was basic like a Baghdad prison breakfast was like a 5 year old had cooked it no parking at front I was told I could had a parking ticket the smell from the Indian restaurant next door was enough left went to the mount hotel 1 1/2 miles away fantastic value

It's a lovely hotel but has no AC and their pool is not children friendly, which means I end up leaving the children in the hotel room. They where not happy

Great hotel. Lots of little touches that just make it perfect. Staff so friendly. Rooms clean and fresh.
